2. ABOUT ME
Hi I’m Slimane Benslimane, Web developper
As far as I remember, I was always attracted by devices working with electronics inside, I was- and Iam still- very curious !
When I was a teenager, I wanted to open and repair TVs and radios.
A few years later, I was working as helpdesk technician for a public company.
Then I joined international companies based in France as support technician, to practice English, discover other cultures and also
participating to enriching IT projects.After almost 15 years working as support technician, I changed carrier to web developpment
because I was attracted by this field, I was looking for new challenges, learning new technologies.
Now, I have several years experience in developing websites especially with WordPress which is my favorite CMS because it is very
flexible, you can turn a blog into a shop in minutes.
I helped several clients to redesign their website coded in Flash to a modern one, I also had to make an inventory of all pages and
check with clients which are worth to keep, then I made a redirection of pages through HTACCESS file.
I used this file to redirect HTTP queries to HTTPS, also to protect sensitive WordPress files like wp-config.php and speedup the website
loading.
I am aware of security importance, that's why I always install robust plugins to protect website against brute force attacks and to
backup website content.

THIS WEBSITE WAS MY FIRST PROJECT DEVELOPPED WITH FOUNDATION CSS
FRAMEWORK.
I DEVELOPED IT FOR A MOROCCAN HUMANITARIAN ASSOCIATION BASED IN THE
SOUTH OF MOROCCO.

Creation of a website from scratch for a Beninian humanitarian association which targets teenagers in situation of school failure.
I worked with a webdesigner and a webmarketer.
Goal was also to fund raise money and finance projects locally in Cotonou city
WordPress was used to create website and raise money with Paypal.

5. www.nexifysolutions.com
This is a « one page » site made with WordPress for a young English start-up which looks after big data management,
business intelligence and data analytics for pharmaceutical market.
Company logo was made by webdesigner Azzedine Lhinna.

6. www.services-pc.net
Client is a computer troubleshooter who needs to redesign his website because out of date and wasn't responsive he
wanted to create posts about his activity, WordPress was the perfect solution. I had to take care of SEO and make an
inventory of all pages and then to which page to redirect them with redirection 300 on HTACCESS file. We created
together new pages with new content regarding services he provides to his clients. I chose pictures for new posts created
and home slider. I proposed to create a new primary menu and a footer menu. I created a pricing plan page which
wasn't present in the old website. I added several Call To Action sections to trigger calls In order to get emails from
visitor, I added a popup linked to autoresponder enabling to download a free eBook.

theme is learning arabic language online for french beginners and client’s goal is to convert visitors to prospects.
website is HTTPS with installation of Let's encrypt certificate.

301 redirections on htaccess file creation of a portfolio page for user's concerts
installation of HTTPS certificat Let's encrypt.
optimization of photos weight and size to keep pages loading quickly.
load page optimization was made on HTACCESS and with cache plugin automatic data backup plugin installed and
setup security plugin setup.
Client would like now to sell products like DVD’s or posters of her shows, working currently on this part of the project.

This is my portfolio website made with BootStrap CSS Framework.
I am working on a new version of it with WordPress, because I would like to get more information about visitors thanks
to SEO plugin but also to turn them into clients by proposing free gifts and create a blog section with new content.

10. www.noisy-informatique.fr
Client owns a shop which sells computing products new and second hand ones.
Client needed an online shop to get more customers and a visibility online, he also proposes to troubleshoot computers,
laptops and smartphones.
Clients could come directly to the shop and have their hardware repaired.
Website was created with WordPress and Woo Commerce plugin.
