Examples of nanomaterials used include carbon nanotubes, graphene, quantum dots, and nanoparticles. Specifically, quantum dots and perovskites improve solar cell absorption and efficiency, while graphene and carbon nanotubes enhance battery capacity and charge/discharge rates for energy storage. Nanomaterials also improve wind turbine aerodynamics, mechanical properties, and hydrogen production and storage.
