WhatIsHomeostasis?
Homeostasis is aself-regulating process that allows an
organism to maintain internal stability even when the
environment changes.
It keeps the body working properly for survival.
Is the body’s ability to maintain a stable internal
environment despite changes in external or internal
environment. It ensures that the body’s conditions remain
within a normal range so that cells can function properly
Example: When you exercise, your body temperature increases, so you sweat to cool
down.

Homeostasis=Balance
Homeostasis is astate of balance among all body systems.
Your body constantly adjusts to keep things normal, such as:
Body temperature
Blood pressure
Blood glucose level
When these stay balanced the body functions well.

INTERNALENVIRONMENT
The internal environmentrefers to the conditions inside the
body that must remain relatively constant for survival. These
include:
Body temperature (about 37 degree Celsius
Blood pressure
Blood glucose level
Water balance
Oxygen and carbon dioxide levels
Although the weather and surroundings may change, the body works
continously to keep these internal conditions stable.

Important?
Maintaining homeostasis isimportant because it:
Keeps body cells healthy and functioning properly
Allowas enzymes to work efficiently
Prevents illnesses caused by extreme changes in body conditions
Helps organs work together effectively
Supports growth, repair, and survival.

All of these are ways the body maintains homeostasis—keeping internal conditions stable despite changes in the environment.

#10 Why is it called negative feedback mechanis
It is called a negative feedback mechanism because the body's response acts against (or negates) the original change, bringing the body back to its normal state. Here, "negative" means "opposite" or "counteracting," not "bad."
#12 Negative feedback prevents body conditions from becoming too high or too low. It helps maintain homeostasis, keeping the internal environment stable so the body's cells can function properly.
Remember: Negative feedback reverses a change to restore balance, while positive feedback amplifies a change until a specific event is completed (such as childbirth or blood clotting).
