WhatIsHomeostasis?
Homeostasis is a self-regulating process that allows an
organism to maintain internal stability even when the
environment changes.
It keeps the body working properly for survival.
Is the body’s ability to maintain a stable internal
environment despite changes in external or internal
environment. It ensures that the body’s conditions remain
within a normal range so that cells can function properly
Example: When you exercise, your body temperature increases, so you sweat to cool
down.
Homeostasis=Balance
Homeostasis is a state of balance among all body systems.
Your body constantly adjusts to keep things normal, such as:
Body temperature
Blood pressure
Blood glucose level
When these stay balanced the body functions well.

INTERNALENVIRONMENT
The internal environment refers to the conditions inside the
body that must remain relatively constant for survival. These
include:
Body temperature (about 37 degree Celsius
Blood pressure
Blood glucose level
Water balance
Oxygen and carbon dioxide levels
Although the weather and surroundings may change, the body works
continously to keep these internal conditions stable.

Positive Feedback
These systems detect changes and respond automatically.
