Holding Group, Riyadh, K.S.A.
Duration : 26th April, 2012 to till todate.(2 Years.)
Title : “Sr. Financial Accountant/ Sr. Accounts & Finance Officer”.
Responsibilities : During my service with this big construction company I am responsible for the following
assignments:
 Since 26th April, 2012 I am working on Telly and ERP Micro Soft Dynamics System for the
preparation of Financial Statements & Management Reports.
 Finalization of Monthly, Quarterly, Half Yearly, 3rd Quarterly & Annual Financial Statements
with the preparation of all schedules and closing entries for assets depreciation, provision for
expenses and staff accruals for annual and end of service benefits.
 Preparation & Submission of Zakat & Tax Return as per Saudi Government Laws.
 Liaison with Company’s External Auditors by generating all required reports by enternal till
the successful completion of Annual Audit.
 Finalization of monthly closing process.
 Forecasting of funds acquisition and disbursement of the Company’s Liabilities.
 Preparation of Monthly and Annual Budget.
 Deal with banking and leasing matters.
 Deal with the Insurance Companies for getting the necessary policies to secure the Company’s
interest relates with Office and Projects.
 Looking the Projects Contract agreements and ensure the compliance of the contract
agreements clauses related with our scope of work (i.e. issuance of Guarantees)
 Preparation of invoices according to the schedules, submit the required insurances polices to
the clients, update the managements about risk or applicable penalties , monitor the projects
duration completion).
 Provide the management cash inflow & outflow reports and submit monthly projects Profit &
Loss Statement project wise.
 Preparation of Monthly GRP Group Reporting Pack for management information and future
decision making.
 Maintain Control Cash Account.
 Coordinate with ERP system Advisors & with other departments Head, Attend the ERP
meetings and advise for the developments of the ERP system.
 Handling and follow up of the co.’s receivables with the internal and external clients.
 Maintenance of Fixed Assets Management.
 Reviewing all purchase requisitions to ensure that the proposed expenditure is within budget
and seeks the approval of the directors.
 Preparing summaries of actual versus budget for each department and distributing them to the
department Heads.
 Monitoring routine accounts works.
 Supervising the “Payroll” & HR issues.
 Prepared and verified the vouchers.
 Monitor the Credit Limits and outstanding of the parties.
 Advising the Management about any unforeseen financial matters in advance.
 Coordinate with all the departments and resolve their issues related to Accounts & Finance.
 Responsible for all aspects of financial reporting accuracy, scrutinized trial balance for
inconsistencies and accurate and complete reporting fromall other departments including sales,
authorized fixed assets capitalization.
 Indentify the areas for cost reductions and operational improvements, annual budget process,
periodic forecasting and periodic analysis of operations performance.
 Prepares statements and reports of estimated future costs and revenues.
 Directs internal audits involving review of accounting and adminsistrative controls.
 Establishes system controls for new financials systems and develops procedures to improve
existing systems.
 Analysing change and advising the client on what needs to be done.
 Formulating strategies to be used in the long termfinancial plans for a business entity.
 Researching the different factors that influence business performances.
 Analysing the performance of the competitors and the marketing trends,
 Developing management mechanism in the finance department for the purposes of minimising
the financials risks.
 Managing the accounting and monitoring systems for the company’s finances.
 Develop and analyze information to assess the current and future financial status of the firm.
 Prepare financial and regulatory reports required by laws, regulations and boards of directors.
 Prepare operational and risk reports for management analysis.
 Oversee the flow of cash and financial instruments.
 Establish procedures for custody and control of assets, records, loan collateral, and securities,
in order to ensure safe keeping.
 Developing good working relationships with the professionals such as bankers, auditors or
statutory organizations for the benefit of the firm.
 Analyze financial performance against key business metrics and documents pertinent financial
highlights that will enable management to determine progress against budgets.
 Attend Management meetings on daily, weekly and monthly schedules.
 Preparation of any reports required by the FM, CFO, CEO or M.D.
