  Support the Troops,Inc Mission Statement To send care packages year-round to our men and women currently serving (primarily) overseas who might be missing the basic necessities. We also send letters to provide moral support by letting our Soldiers know that the people back home support them.

  Support the Troops,Inc What do we need to fill our packages? Hygiene Items Snack Items Magazines Letters from adults thanking our soldiers as well as notes and drawings from children. Donations to defray shipping costs.

  Support the Troops,Inc How do we identify Service Members to receive packages? We depend upon our fellow citizens to tell us. Give us the Name(s) and addresses of service members you know that are serving (in the continental US or overseas). This is the only way we can send packages. We must have specific members mailing addresses – the services will not provide this information. Only family members, relatives and close friends can provide this information.

  Support the Troops,Inc What specific service member information do we need to successfully send a package? Service Member’s full name and address How long the member is expected to be at this address (Optional) What branch of the service (Army, Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps, Space Force, Coast Guard). Approximate number of soldiers that would benefit from receiving a care package – and number of women (if applicable) so we can tailor the packages. Your name and contact number in case we have questions.

  Support the Troops,Inc Detailed Information on items for donation: Individually wrapped hard candy · gum · peanut butter· crackers· beef-jerky · dry drink mixes to add to water, especially in the summer (like Lipton, Propel or Country Time) · individually wrapped coffee singles and tea bags · sugar and creamer packages · hot chocolate mixes (winter item) · ramen noodles individual oatmeal packets (in winter only) granola bars · raisins · dried fruits · lunch box sized packages of commercially wrapped cookies and crackers· energy bars· dried fruit snacks · pretzels · microwaveable popcorn · nuts · first aid kits · travel board games · crossword and word find puzzle books · pens · envelopes · travel sized shampoos, toothpaste and toothbrushes · travel sized soaps · tissues · deodorant · hand and body lotion · insect repellant and sunscreen · Gold Bond foot powder · Q-tips disposable razors · small sewing kits eye-glass repair kits · hand sanitizers sanitizing baby wipes · eye drops · Advil and Tylenol · chap stick · socks If possible, items should be fragrance free. No pork products, glass or crushable items.
