Strip Tex Ludens Maxi 24 - Zeljezni konj.pdf
The document discusses the history and evolution of the English language from its origins as Anglo-Frisian dialects brought to Britain by Anglo-Saxon settlers in the 5th century AD. Over time, the language was influenced by Old Norse with the Viking invasions and later by Norman French following the Norman conquest, and has continued to adopt loanwords from other languages like Latin and Greek. Modern English bears little resemblance to the language of the Anglo-Saxons.
