“Once there was a judge in a town. He did not care about God. He also did not care what people thought about him. َ ‫ال‬َ ‫ق‬ : « َ ‫خ‬َ ‫ي‬ َ ‫َل‬ ٍ ‫اض‬َ ‫ق‬ ‫ا‬َ ‫م‬ ٍ ‫ة‬َ ‫ين‬ِ ‫د‬َ ‫م‬ ‫ي‬ِ ‫ف‬ َ ‫ان‬َ ‫ك‬ ُ ‫يم‬ِ ‫ق‬ُ ‫ي‬ َ ‫َل‬َ ‫و‬ َ‫هللا‬ ُ ‫اف‬ ِ ‫اس‬َّ ‫لن‬ِ ‫ل‬ ‫ا‬‫ا‬ ‫ار‬َ ‫ب‬ِ ‫اعت‬ .
In that same town there was a woman whose husband had died. She came many times to this judge and said, ‘There is a man who is doing bad things to me.’ َ ‫ل‬َ ‫م‬ْ ‫َر‬‫أ‬ ِ ‫ة‬َ ‫ين‬ِ ‫د‬َ ‫م‬ْ‫ل‬‫ا‬ َ ‫ك‬ْ‫ل‬ِ ‫ت‬ ‫ي‬ِ ‫ف‬ َ ‫ان‬َ ‫ك‬َ ‫و‬ ْ‫ي‬َ ‫ل‬ِ ‫إ‬ ‫ي‬ِ ‫ْت‬‫أ‬َ‫ت‬ ْ ‫ت‬َ ‫ان‬َ ‫ك‬ ٌ ‫ة‬ ِ ‫ه‬ ‫ا‬ ‫ة‬َ ‫ل‬ِ ‫ائ‬َ ‫ق‬ : ‫ي‬ِ ‫م‬ ْ ‫ص‬َ ‫خ‬ ْ ‫ن‬ِ ‫م‬ ‫ي‬ِ ‫ن‬ْ ‫ف‬ ِ ‫ص‬ْ‫َن‬‫أ‬ !
But the judge did not want to help the woman. ‫ا‬ َ ‫ن‬ِ ‫م‬ ‫ا‬ ‫ة‬َّ ‫د‬ُ ‫م‬ ‫ا‬َ ‫ه‬َ ‫ب‬َ ‫ل‬َ ‫ط‬ ُ ‫ض‬ُ ‫ف‬ْ ‫ر‬َ ‫ي‬ َّ ‫ل‬َ ‫ظ‬َ ‫ف‬ ِ ‫ن‬َ ‫م‬َّ ‫لز‬ .
The judge ignored her for a while, but finally he said to himself, ‘I don’t fear God or care about people, but this woman is driving me crazy!’ َ ‫ه‬ِ ‫ن‬ ‫ي‬ِ ‫ف‬ ِ ‫ه‬ ِ ‫س‬ْ ‫ف‬َ ‫ن‬ِ ‫ل‬ َ ‫ال‬َ ‫ق‬ ُ ‫ه‬َّ ‫أن‬ َ ‫ر‬ْ‫ي‬َ ‫غ‬ ِ ‫ر‬ْ ‫األم‬ ِ ‫ة‬َ ‫اي‬ : ‹ ٌ ‫يح‬ِ ‫ح‬ َ ‫ص‬ َ ‫ب‬ِ ‫اعت‬ ُ ‫يم‬ِ ‫ُق‬‫أ‬ َ ‫َل‬َ ‫و‬ َ‫هللا‬ ُ ‫اف‬َ ‫أخ‬ َ ‫َل‬ ‫ي‬ِّ ِ ‫أن‬ ِ ‫اس‬َّ ‫لن‬ِ ‫ل‬ ‫ا‬‫ا‬ ‫ار‬ . َ ‫ه‬ َّ ‫ن‬ِ ‫ك‬َ ‫ل‬ ِ ‫ه‬ِ ‫ذ‬ ،‫ا‬‫ا‬ ‫م‬ِ ‫ائ‬َ ‫د‬ ‫ي‬ِ ‫ن‬ُ ‫ج‬ِ ‫ع‬ ‫ز‬ُ‫ت‬ َ ‫ة‬َ ‫ل‬َ ‫األرم‬
I’m going to see that she gets justice, because she is wearing me out with her constant requests!’” َّ ‫ًل‬َ ‫ئ‬ِ ‫ل‬ ‫ا‬َ ‫ه‬َ‫ت‬َ ‫ل‬ِ ‫شك‬ُ ‫م‬ ُّ ‫ل‬َ ‫أح‬ َ ‫س‬ َ ‫ك‬ِ ‫ل‬َ ‫ذ‬ِ ‫ل‬ َّ ‫ي‬َ ‫ل‬‫إ‬ َ ‫ي‬ِ ‫تأت‬ ‫ي‬ِ ‫ن‬َ ‫ق‬ِ ‫ه‬ ‫ر‬ُ‫ت‬َ ‫و‬ . › »
Then the Lord said, “Learn a lesson from this unjust judge. Even he rendered a just decision in the end. So don’t you think God will surely give justice to his chosen people? ُّ ‫ب‬َّ ‫الر‬ َ ‫ال‬َ ‫ق‬ َّ ‫م‬ُ‫ث‬ : « َ ‫م‬ ‫ا‬‫و‬ُ ‫ظ‬ِ ‫ح‬ َ ‫َل‬ ُ ‫ه‬َ ‫ل‬‫ا‬َ ‫ق‬ ‫ا‬ ُ ‫ير‬ِّ ِ ‫ر‬ ِِّ ‫الش‬ ‫ي‬ ِ ‫اض‬َ ‫ق‬‫ال‬ . َ ‫ي‬ َ ‫ًل‬َ ‫ف‬‫أ‬ ‫ى‬َ ‫ل‬َ ‫ع‬ ُ‫هللا‬ ُ ‫ل‬َ ‫م‬ْ ‫ع‬ َ‫ت‬ْ ‫اخ‬ َ ‫ين‬ِ ‫ذ‬َّ ‫ال‬ ِ ‫اس‬َّ ‫الن‬ ِ ‫اف‬ َ ‫إنص‬ ْ ‫م‬ُ ‫ه‬َ ‫ار‬
God’s people shout to him night and day, and he will always give them what is right. He will not be slow to answer them. ‫ا‬‫ا‬ ‫يع‬ِ ‫ر‬ َ ‫س‬ ْ ‫م‬ُ ‫ه‬ُ ‫ف‬ ِ ‫نص‬ُ ‫ي‬ َ ‫س‬ ُ ‫ه‬َّ ‫إن‬ ْ ‫م‬ُ ‫ك‬َ ‫ل‬ ُ ‫ول‬ُ ‫ق‬‫أ‬ .
