En septiembre del 2013 en General David Petraeus, ex-jefe de la CIA y uno de los jefes de los comandos unificados de seguridad de los intereses de Estados Unidos en el mundo, dijo refiriéndose a la extensión del Plan Colombia hasta el 2020: “Los esfuerzos del presidente Juan Manuel Santos por alcanzar la paz con las FARC es más en el terreno político, pero sin descuidar el frente militar”. Corroboraba así aquello de que “para cercar a Venezuela hay que armar a Colombia”.
Bob was feeling miserable after a difficult morning at school. During a break, he was confronted by Marvin, one of the school bullies. Marvin blocked Bob's path and said they needed to talk. Marvin accused Bob of cheating on his science test by downloading the answers from the school server, even though Bob was not very good at science. Marvin threatened to tell Bob's science teacher what he knew unless Bob paid him fifty dollars. Marvin then walked away, leaving Bob with a racing heart, worried about the trouble he could get in if Marvin reported him.
