First we came up with a
problem.
Our problem was bad maths test
results.
Second, we had to come up with a
question that involves the problem
that we chose. The question we
came up with was "Do maths
games improve test results?"
Then we asked the younger
pupils to be our test subjects.
They had to sign a form. We
gave them a code name. The
name was first a colour and
then a number.
The red group was the
control group and the blue,
green, yellow and orange
were the test group.
They had to take a + and - test.
The red group played non-
educational games.
The rest of the
groups played
maths games.
After 1 week they took a
midterm test. It was the
same test.
After every test, we had to
find the average of every
group.
We had to make a bar chart
for every test to see if they
improved or not.
After 1 week they took the
same test again.
After we got the averages,
we found that extra maths
games improve test results!
