Touchpoints are every contact a customer has  with your store and your brand  in the store or  outside the store,  whether bricks and mortar or on-line
Touchpoints =  customer contact points that influence customer thinking about the store and it’s offerings, that help make the sale
Influentials outside:  conversations w/friends, teachers, role models,  sights on the sidewalk, print media & online sites, social media chat
Influentials inside:  store environment (exterior, interior), store clerks, clerk training (service, info), managers, merchandise, services, partners, stockroom
Controlable Influential:  Retail Design Elements 1. Sights on sidewalk:    shopping bags, T’s 2. Print: billboards, mags 3. Online sites 3. Store Exterior, Interior 4. Merchandise Display 5. Customer service
The more control  over the  context   the more control  over the Influential,  and  the more influence  to make the sale
Context: ambience, background, connection,  environment Most controllable context: the  Store Environment Control is why there will always be brick and mortar stores
