What we do
Our company is specializing in the cas*ng of ferrous and non‐ferrous alloys to produce industrial parts for
a wide variety of industries. We also perform medium complexity machining of the cas8ngs.

3. The way we work
Moulding
The moulding and cas8ng opera8ons are run on a semi‐mechanized technological line; the moulding is
prepared in a modern Omega‐type installa8on, using washed dry quartz sand bonded with furan resins.
Sporadically manual moulding can be used in mixtures of sand bonded with sodium silicate or bentonite.
Melting
The mel*ng of refractory alloys is made in electric furnaces heated by induc*on, with a capacity of 300 kg
each. The development of easily fusible alloys is made in electric furnaces or flame furnaces. The chemical
composi*on is determined with a spectral analyser.
Casting
For some nonferrous parts we apply sta*c cas*ng in metal moulds, centrifugal cas*ng on horizontal or
ver8cal axis, and high‐pressure cas*ng.

Quality
The quality of our products and services is our top priority. Quality management is cer8fied by type 3.1.B
cer8ficates according to EN 10204. The industrial parts are carefully checked to meet specifica8ons.
Determina8on of chemical composi*on of alloys is made using a spectrometer ARUN (UK). The pieces hardness
is measured internally, while mechanical characteris*cs can be determined in university research labs.
Experience
Ph.D. Ioan Carcea (Founder and Member of the Board) is Professor of Materials Science at the Technical
University of Iasi, and an experienced engineer. The management team coordinates the ac8vity of engineers
and specialists with strong experience in metal working.
