This document discusses the oneness view of God in contrast to the trinity doctrine. It addresses several questions that arise from a trinitarian perspective, such as who was Jesus' father and how God can pray. The document argues that the oneness view provides clear, consistent answers to these questions based on scripture, while the trinity leads to confusion and contradiction. Key points are that Jesus possesses a dual divine-human nature, which explains incidents like his baptism and cry from the cross, and the right hand of God refers to God's power and glory, not a physical location.
This document provides an in-depth exegetical study of Revelation 17-18 about the judgment of Babylon the great harlot. It examines the symbolism in the passage, comparing it to other references to spiritual harlotry in the Bible. Babylon represents a false religious system that has corrupted the earth. The study traces the origins of Babylon back to the Tower of Babel and the rebellion of Nimrod after the flood. It argues that Babylon is a transhistorical symbol of satanic deception, representing any culture apart from God.
The woman represents Israel and the church. A male child is born who will rule the nations, referring to Jesus. The dragon is Satan who stands ready to devour the child. Michael and his angels defeat Satan. The woman flees into the wilderness for 1,260 days, representing a time of persecution. Throughout the vision, Satan and his forces stand against God and His people, but God ultimately protects and provides for His faithful followers.

The document discusses the seven feasts of the Lord presented in the book of Leviticus. It provides details on each feast such as the Passover, Feast of Unleavened Bread, Feast of First Fruits, Pentecost, Feast of Trumpets, Day of Atonement, and Feast of Tabernacles. It notes that these feasts were shadows pointing to fulfillment in Christ and will be fully fulfilled in the future.
This document provides commentary on Revelation 17. It begins by summarizing the key details in the chapter about a woman sitting on many waters who is called a great whore. She has committed fornication with kings and inhabitants have been made drunk by her wine. John sees her sitting on a scarlet beast with 7 heads and 10 horns. The commentary then provides context that the woman represents a church and the beast represents world governments used by Satan. It delves into the symbolism of her clothing, golden cup, and name being Mystery Babylon. The commentary aims to tie these symbols to the historical Roman Catholic church and its rule during the 1260 prophetic years. It examines the meaning and fulfillment of the prophetic time periods mentioned
The document provides background information on the Book of Obadiah, the smallest book in the Old Testament. It discusses the relationship between Jacob/Israel and Esau/Edom, neighboring countries located west and southeast of each other, respectively. Edom did not allow Israel to pass through and enter the Promised Land. Obadiah prophesied the destruction of Edom for harming Israel, which was later fulfilled when Nebuchadnezzar destroyed Jerusalem and the region of Edom disappeared.
Daniel 9 records Daniel's prayer of repentance and confession on behalf of the Israelites for their sins. He prays that God will have mercy and restore Jerusalem according to the prophecy of Jeremiah that the desolation of Jerusalem would last 70 years. God reveals to Daniel that there will be 70 "sevens" decreed for the Israelites to make atonement for sins, which is interpreted by some as referring to the coming of the Messiah.
The document provides a summary and analysis of Revelation chapter 12 and the beginning of chapter 13 from the Bible. It describes a vision of a woman representing God's people being persecuted by a dragon representing Satan. Satan is defeated and cast down to Earth where he persecutes the woman's offspring. It then discusses two beasts described in chapter 13 - the first coming out of the sea representing a powerful kingdom, and the second coming out of the earth representing a false prophet who promotes worship of the first beast. The document analyzes the symbolism and provides context from other biblical passages.

Man was created by God in His image to glorify and enjoy Him forever. This means we were made with a moral, spiritual, and rational nature like God's, as well as a desire for community. Although distorted by sin, God's image in us is being restored through salvation and sanctification by Christ. The chief end of man is to glorify God by enjoying Him fully.
Small groups are important for spiritual growth and fellowship. They allow biblical information to be applied practically and believers to live out teachings from Scripture. Reasons for commitment to small groups include that they are biblical, help shepherd and lead others, multiply leaders, encourage spiritual gifts, foster love, and promote unity. Effective small groups have opening sharing, biblical discussion, prayer for one another, and fellowship. Genuine care involves sharing testimonies, struggles, meeting practical needs, specific prayer, and truthful counsel wrapped in love. Healthy communication progresses from surface to personal to transparent levels of sharing feelings. The goal is to experience Christ's presence together.
Why We Worship as Followers of Jesus by Jon Gausjonathangaus
This document discusses reasons why Christians worship God as followers of Jesus. It notes that humans were created to worship, and that currently everyone worships something. Through becoming new creations in Christ, believers can properly reflect God's glory. The document encourages pursuing an encounter with God in worship rather than just an experience, and notes that worship should lead to doxology or praise of God. The goal of worship teams should be to point people to Jesus and then disappear, using the gifts and tools God has provided for that season.
Jon Gaus shares "Extended Time with God" Guidejonathangaus
The document provides guidance on spending time with God through waiting on Him. It explains that God desires an intimate relationship with us and created us to find pleasure in His presence. To experience His presence requires being still, focusing our thoughts on Him, and coming into His presence by faith. The document then outlines steps to waiting on God, including spending time in silence before Him, praising and worshipping Him through declarations of who He is, and making our "one thing" request to dwell in His house as King David did. The overall message is that God invites us to wait on Him and find our greatest joy and pleasure in His presence.

It seems that current missionary work requires spending a lot of money, preparing a lot of materials, and traveling to far away places, so that it feels like missionary work. But what was the result they brought back? It's just a lot of photos of activities, fun eating, drinking and some playing games. And then we have to do the same thing next year, never ending. The church once mentioned that a certain missionary would go to the field where she used to work before the end of his life. It seemed that if she had not gone, no one would be willing to go. The reason why these missionary work is so difficult is that no one obeys God’s words, and the Bible is not the main content during missionary work, because in the eyes of those who do not obey God’s words, the Bible is just words and cannot be connected with life, so Reading out God's words is boring because it doesn't have any life experience, so it cannot be connected with human life. I will give a few examples in the hope that this situation can be changed. A375
The Book of Ruth is included in the third division, or the Writings, of the Hebrew Bible. In most Christian canons it is treated as one of the historical books and placed between Judges and 1 Samuel.
