When Oracle PBCS is “Not the Right Fit”
When might my customer want to consider on-premises or hosting services,
such as Oracle Managed Cloud Services (aka On Demand), instead?
• Want multiple EPM and or OBI products hosted (HFM, Essbase, etc.) and

TWO CHOICES
• Migration and Support Policy for Customers Shelving Licenses in favor of EPM
Cloud
– Licenses of Hyperion Planning products can be shelved for EPM Cloud, these products are
typically licensed in a Planning deployment.
– Customer is provided support for up to six months on the on-premise license at no charge
– Shelving program allows licenses to be “unshelved” at end of Cloud Services agreement
• Migration and Support Policy for Customers Terminating Licenses in favor of EPM
Cloud
– Termination program “terminates” on-premise licenses, no going back!
– Can migrate from “related pillar” of functionality to EPM Cloud
