Photo gallery from the EC-SIGMA high-level conference Capacity of public administrations for EU integration and beyond
The purpose of this conference was to bring together ministers from EU candidate countries and potential candidates, as well as the European Commission and the OECD, to exchange on key messages, experience, good practices and lessons learned regarding recent development of the public administrations of the Western Balkans and Eastern Partnership, and discuss what are the main challenges in building sufficient capacity of public administrations to cope with demanding requirements of EU integration. SIGMA regularly monitors performance against the Principles of Public Administration, a joint EU-OECD framework of policy standards. The findings and recommendations of the recent SIGMA Monitoring Reports informed the ministerial discussion.
