A study conducted by Cascade has revealed that only 13% of
HR/business managers believe their organisation has an effective
wellbeing strategy in place. 67% admit that it is ‘a work in progress’.
The working landscape has changed considerably since the arrival of the Internet, Emails and Social Media.
Many people own smartphones and tablets, which has enabled traditional working patterns to evolve.
In many cases organisations now provide laptops and work phones as standard when employees join the company,
which allows and accepts the employee working from home and outside of office hours.
How many of these sound like your employees?
They don’t work typical Monday to Friday 9-5 anymore.
They take work home.
They answer emails in the evening and at the weekend.
They complain to colleagues about lack of exercise, have a poor diet and suffer from a lack of sleep.

Delegates will learn how to;
Achieve more each day (in some cases by pursuing
less).
Create space in their mind in order to make better
decisions.
Develop strategies to minimise distractions
(including email and social media).
Design routines to generate ‘daily & weekly wins’
that eliminate the non-essential and reduce stress.

Perfect imbalance 1 day workshop overview

  • 2. BACKGROUND Would your employees tell you they’d like a better work-life balance? Do you think they work too much and don’t have enough time for family, hobbies, friends, exercising and even sleep? Do you notice that stress levels and absence rates are going up? What are your options? a) Let them carry on doing what they’re doing? b) Help them take time out to focus on their work-life balance? c) Allow them to leave your organisation for somewhere that offers better flexibility and better well-being initiatives? A study conducted by Cascade has revealed that only 13% of HR/business managers believe their organisation has an effective wellbeing strategy in place. 67% admit that it is ‘a work in progress’.
  • 3. The working landscape has changed considerably since the arrival of the Internet, Emails and Social Media. Many people own smartphones and tablets, which has enabled traditional working patterns to evolve. In many cases organisations now provide laptops and work phones as standard when employees join the company, which allows and accepts the employee working from home and outside of office hours. How many of these sound like your employees? They don’t work typical Monday to Friday 9-5 anymore. They take work home. They answer emails in the evening and at the weekend. They complain to colleagues about lack of exercise, have a poor diet and suffer from a lack of sleep. Their time in the evening (which they planned to spend with their partner or children) is spent catching up on the events of the day. Their work-life balance has shifted more towards work. They blame the increase in work and/or having a poor manager.
  • 4. THE PERFECT IMBALANCE WORKSHOP PURPOSE To enable employees to live a more successful and less stressful life. To provide a programme of solutions to work-life balance and well-being that can benefit the employee and the employer. LEARNING STYLE In this workshop delegates will reflect, share, debate, draw, vote, discuss, think and commit to making changes in their lives. This workshop is interactive and challenging from the moment you arrive. New thinking + clarity on how to make changes = happier and more engaged employees.

OVERVIEW We start with our simple Perfect Imbalance formula: PURPOSE + AWARENESS +/- BALANCE = SUCCESS PURPOSE Role, responsibilities, tasks, goals & objectives AWARENESS Key areas if individual balance; family, work, health, relationships etc BALANCE +/- and when more or less is needed; linked back to purpose SUCCESS Maximising a perfect imbalance; linked back to Purpose + Awareness +/- Balance
  • 6. LEARNING OUTCOMES Delegates will learn how to; Achieve more each day (in some cases by pursuing less). Create space in their mind in order to make better decisions. Develop strategies to minimise distractions (including email and social media). Design routines to generate ‘daily & weekly wins’ that eliminate the non-essential and reduce stress.
