KEYBOARD
-IS AN INPUT DEVICE THAT IS USED FOR ENTERING LETTERS, NUMBERS
AND SYMBOLS
IN COMPUTER.

1.Number keys
-is the part of the keyboard used for counting numbers and has
the symbols for
addition and subtraction.
2.Function keys.
The function keys are used to perform specific tasks. They are
labeled as F1, F2, F3, and so on, up to F12. The functionality of these
keys differs from program to program.
3.Navigation keys.
keys are used for moving around in documents or webpages and editing text.
They include the arrow keys, Home, End, Page Up, Page Down, Delete, and
Insert.
4.A numeric keypad
number pad or ten key, usually on the far right. It provides calculator-style
efficiency for entering numbers.
5.Typing keys
The keys on your keyboard can be divided into several groups based on
function:
a. Alphanumeric keys
- has the alphabet from A to Z and has a number from 0 to 9 and
common symbols. It is grouped into three the top row keys, Home row
keys and button row keys.
b. cursor control keys
(the cursor is the flashing bar on the computer screen that shows your
current position). Many keyboards also have a separate pad for these
keys (look for a set of arrow keys).

Backspace key
The key to remove letters to the left of the cursor
Delete key
The key to remove letters to the right of the cursor
Space bar
The key used to make spaces between words.
Caps lock
The key used to make all letters into capitals
Enter key
The key used to move down on the screen and put in an extra line.
Escape
The key that also acts the same as a cancel button.
Press tab
The key that moves the cursor over about five spaces.
Shift
The key used with a letter key to make one letter into a capital.
Alt key
a key on a computer keyboard that when pressed in combination
with other keys enables special commands or symbols to be accessed

The keys where the right hand should rest
