This document is a project report submitted by Jotham M. Chacha in partial fulfillment of the requirements for a Master's degree from the University of Nairobi. The report investigates human resource factors influencing employee performance in international non-governmental organizations in Kenya, using Management Sciences of Health Kenya office as a case study. The objectives are to examine the influence of employment contracts, training and development, leadership style, motivation, and rewards on employee performance. The report includes chapters on introduction and background, literature review, research methodology, data analysis and findings, and conclusions and recommendations. It aims to identify strategies to improve organizational performance through understanding factors that impact individual employee performance.
