• Review the location of some European
countries.
• Introduce some Middle Eastern countries.
• Be aware of the Syrian situation.
• Develop empathetic attitudes in the students
towards war and migration.

• Review the names of some European
Countries and become familiar with some
Middle Eastern countries.
• Be able to place those countries in a map
• Be aware of the Syrian problem
CONTENT
• Current situation of the refugees from Syria
• Differences between a refugee and an
immigrant.
• Location of Middle Eastern countries (Turkey,
Jordan, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, UAE)
• Cross curricular:
Location of some European countries (Greece,
Hungary, Croatia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Germany,
Austria).
