Editor's Notes

  • #8 Additional licenses can be purchased from the Salesforce.com Foundation (Current cost as of this writing is $360/user license/year)
  • #31 Really tempting to just sign in and start changing things. Take a step back. First step before beginning to use Salesforce, or even deciding whether or not to use Salesforce, you need to define what your organization does and how it does it. This is an integral step in using Salesforce effectively. Without it you won’t get anywhere or will get somewhere where you don’t want to go. This process can help you figure out whether or not you should use Salesforce, it can help you identify inefficiencies in your organization, and can help you structure your database to fit your organizational needs.
