Well, We've kept our promises!\nHiring in Europe \n We've grown paid staff in Europe by 49% since the last MozCamp! 113 people today (76 in Nov. 2011)\n\n

- #6 MozSpace opened in London with large community space. It has enabled new connections with other organizations such as Wikimedia Foundation UK\nThere is now a temp office in Berlin for 12  people, and we'll get a 1000 sqm place in 2013. \nWe've doubled the size of the Paris office and we've signed a lease for a fantastic Mozilla Space that should open in Q1 2013, with a very large space for community events. \n\n
- #7 Mozilla community has always been important in Europe, and it’s still the case, and it’s increasingly visible. Here are a few examples: \nGaia, the B2G user Interface is built mostly in Paris, France and Taiwan\nFull-time people working at Telefonica, T-Mobile is dedicating staff, other mobile partnerships\n We have 72 Mozilla Reps in continental Europe, 41 in Africa & Middle East.\nMore than 200 ReMo events in EMEA in the past year, including Webmaker\nFirefox Flicks winners announced at Cannes - Edward Norton and Shauna Robertson\n\n
- #8 We need leadership from the community and are working to help the community take charge.\n Individually by taking up new opportunities, bringing in new people and perspectives\n Enacting change at local levels will plant seeds for broader change. Think big and start small.\nWe'll keep our promises and support you however we can.\nThe Web will continue to evolve, and we will evolve with it. \n Going where the users are\n Fulfilling our mission and delivering awesome products\n Working together\n\n

- #11 Our mission is fulfilled in part through the products we develop\nWe focus on building high-quality products that help people. \nProduct excellence is our best advocacy tool for proving the Open Web benefits. Values aren't an excuse for mediocre products.\nWe've challenged ourselves to go outside of our comfort zone in order to deliver forward-looking products, and hope each of you will join us in thinking that way\n\n
- #12 Underscore our responsibility to provide a healthy, vibrant web experience to mobile users in the same way we did for desktop.\nFirefox is evolving to meet the challenge, an open solution based on Mozilla values in Firefox OS\nThe first step towards a larger vision of "Web is the platform"\nThere will be setbacks along the way, but mobile Web will come out stronger\n\n\n
- #13 Lately, we've also challenged ourselves to get the community integrated in ways we hadn't thought feasible, to strengthen the bond\nPaid and volunteer Mozillians are working together more closely, it's a true hybrid.\n Around 1,400 active community members and more than 100 paid staff\nMozilla Reps have broadened the community's role \n We have 72 Mozilla Reps in continental Europe, 41 in Africa & Middle East.\n ReMo leadership in Europe (gathering stats on this)\n\n
