This paper presents an information-centric blockchain technology designed to secure the infrastructure of the modern smart grid, allowing for effective transaction handling while preserving user privacy. It proposes a system where transactions are categorized, user identities are encrypted, and data sources are concealed, addressing challenges of conventional centralized power systems and enhancing scalability, security, and privacy. The framework comprises four layers, integrating public key infrastructure to manage identities and transactions efficiently within a decentralized environment.
