The paper discusses improving light-load efficiency in doubly-fed induction generators (DFIG) used in wind power applications by eliminating interaction effects through a multi-input-multi-output (MIMO) control strategy. It evaluates state-space equations for DFIG under closed-loop control conditions, demonstrating that efficiency can be enhanced even at low load levels. The results indicate that with appropriate control methods, the performance of DFIG systems can be significantly optimized compared to traditional single-input single-output (SISO) approaches.
