First try and get hold of someone in a Senior position through bullhorn, Xing, LinkedIn
Second plan is two find people who maybe wanting to leave the company and find new point of
contact in the company i.e their team leads, project managers.
Send tailored CV’s to Senior position in the company for the set roles available
My top 3 wins
1. Improving my BD introduction
2. Detailing my BD notes so that it is easier for others and I to understand when coming back
to them
3. Structuring emails to clients and writing job adverts
What would I do differently
1. I have missed a few opportunities with BD calls, missing certain details that would help
future calls and the search for candidates
2. Prolonging the conversation to get more information
3. Proof reading messages I have sent, when I have mass mailed people on Xing, I haven’t
personalised the message to that person, highlighting key frameworks.
Areas of improvements
1. My BD calls, even though they have improved, I believe I need to become smoother in the
conversation, find ways around rejection and become more friendly with the person over
the phone.
2. Being more time efficient
3. Improving my candidate base and increasing CV’s sent
4. Better understanding of the market and identifying certain frameworks for certain industry’s
