The document discusses a study on the growth and economic parameters of eri silkworm rearing when fed different varieties of castor leaves. The study was conducted in Bhergaon Sub-Division, Udalguri district of Assam. Four varieties of castor plants were available - red powdery, green powdery, red non-powdery, and green non-powdery. The study found that the red powdery variety resulted in the best growth parameters like shortest larval duration and highest larval weight.
