This document describes a proposed online system to provide information about colleges and courses in Andhra Pradesh, India. The system would allow students, counselors, and administrators to access information about universities, colleges, courses, faculty, and generate reports. Students could search for programs based on location, qualifications, and ranking. Counselors could provide advice and tips on forums. The system would be built with Java on the backend using technologies like JDBC, Servlets, JSP, and deployed on Tomcat. It would integrate with an Oracle database.

Objective:
This system provides online comprehensive solution to provide information regarding
various institutes, their courses and admission procedures for admission seekers in Bachelor
courses
This project is being designed to provide the information about the colleges in Andhra Pradesh.
Andhra Pradesh is a state where there are more and more opportunities to those people who
wishes to join different courses of studies. This site is being designed to provide that
information to those people about the opportunities available in A.P comfortable fashion. The
new education policy of Government of Andhra Pradesh provides with much more
opportunities by increasing the number of seats per course per college, which will provide the
much larger opportunities for the education lovers.
This site not only gives the information about education opportunities available in ANDHARA
PRADESH but also the progress of the state in Information Technology.
Data entry into the application can be done through various screens designed for various users.
Once the authorized personnel feed the relevant data into the system, several reports could be
generated as per the security.

1. Existing System
In the existing system, keeping different colleges information in the state is not possible for the
person who wants to join in the course according to his qualification and his raking. For that
Student who has to go to individual district/town in the state and find address, about that college
and courses availability is very expansive. This is not easy for the poor people and as well as
time consuming process.
2. Proposed System
Using this system one can easy get the information about any college in the state according to
his qualification, with state wise, district wise and as well as rank wise, and also which courses
available in the college with rank wise can be available easily by using this project. According to
this system parents as well as students easily select the college near to his locality. And this
system also provides market strategy in the information technology field also.

Admin Module:-
In this module, the admin can add the Universities information’s, college’s information, courses
information, faculty’s information, counselor’s information related to a college. He can receive
the feedback from the general users about the quality of counseling and the information
provided. Admin can view the discussion forms and provides suggestions. He can
add/delete/modify the syllabus to each course and can provide the online help to the students.
Counselors Module:
In this module the counselors can view the particular college details, faculty details, subject
details, discussion forums. Counselors can add tips to the discussion forums. Counselors can
provide off line/online solutions to the student.
Student Module:
In this module, student can view all the University details, courses details, subject details,
college details. He can also register for a particular course in a college/university. He can
participate in discussion forums. He can view the tips regarding the courses that are provided
by the counselor.
Security and Authentication:
