 Using SQL Server 20082012 developed stored procedures, functions, CTE’s, query
optimization, etc.
 Developed ETL and data dumps to UCLA Health System by accessing UCLA source
applications (Diamond, AllScripts, Signature, etc.) and databases (UNIX, Oracle, SQL Server
(2008/2012),etc.).
 Responsible for weekly, multi-step accountingbilling (CMS 1500) upload process. This
process was critical to UCLA billing $100M’s annually. Additionally, generated an automated
process to reduce developer hours.
 Responsible for extracting data to provide Health Plans with Encounter data.
 Enhanced SQL Server 2012 database processes surrounding .NET Onboarding application and
yearly recertification for UCLA doctors and staff.
 Member of team which produced BAS and FPG reports (12,000+) which were disseminated to
all Health Systemdepartments on a monthly basis.
 Member of team which included projects for Ascender,P4P and HVHC initiatives.

 Heavy usage of stored procedures and functions particularly in the implementation of SSRS.
 Application is deployed at multiple retail locations around the country.

time golf simulators, swing analysis software and more to support Scratch’s’ junior golf

 Developed the Scratch Data Warehouse which is used internally and by Scratch customers to

Database/Software Development
 Developed application using SQL Server 2008,SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS),
SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), Microsoft Access,and Excel with data imports from
Excel and SPSS.
 Designed a data warehouse repository which was used to analyze market data at a granular and
aggregate level across countries, time periods, specified normalization groups,etc.
 VB.NET dashboard interface with SSRS reporting integration.
 C# applets for specific directory monitoring, file manipulation and processing.
 Responsible for managing and anticipating database administration needs, data
normalization, performance tuning, query optimizing, backup/restore and other
management operations.
 Managed project front-end analysis, storyboarding and entire software development lifecycle

 XML integration for the telephony component as well as a back-end SQL Server database

11/06 – 03/07 Apparel Production Services (Under Armour Preferred Manufacturer)
Software/Database Development
 This application utilizes SQL Server 2005,SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), Visual
Basic, Access,Excel and EDI.
 Responsible for database administration, query optimization, and maintenance tasks.
 Provided continued development of the production management application for this major
apparel manufacturer. The application included EDI interfaces, multi-language integration
along with manufacturing and forecasting modules.
09/06 –11/06 Amgen, Inc.
Software/Excel Development
 Developed an application integrating Microsoft Access,Excel and Cognos data imports.
 This application is used to forecast demand and production for the next ten years of all
Amgen’s current and speculative bio-technology products.
 An additional Microsoft Excel custominterface integrates and exchanges data with the
Microsoft Access database to assist in developing scenarios to estimate manufacturing center
utilization. The resultant data sets are then massaged and formatted to be imported into the
Breakaway, Inc. TM1 software. These customapplications were coded using extensive VBA in
Access and Excel.

02/06 – 09/06 Metropolitan Water District of Southern California
Exchange 2003 – Custom form Migration
 Responsible for the migration of 27 customOutlook forms from Exchange 5.5 to Exchange
2003. Also, there are numerous Exchange Event Sink  Event Script modules (Visual Basic
DLLs) that required upgrading.
 Member of a multimillion dollar project which encompasses migration of the entire enterprise
to Windows 2003. There is high visibility as this agency provides water services to the entire
West Coast and has more than 15 million clients.
 Integrated Exchange and Exchange Event Sinks with Microsoft SharePoint as a data repository
as well as for document maintenance and administration.
 Additional development and enhancements of existing customforms was also required.
11/05 – 02/06 Flatwire Technologies
Website Development
 Developed and launched complete website including an online store.The application was
written in Active Server Pages (ASP.NET), Java, VBScript with a SQL Server database
backend, SQL Server Reporting Services and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
 Integrated web store with QuickBooks Pro Enterprise Edition.
 Responsible for ongoing changes and maintenance of the SQL Server 2005 database as well as
online marketing functions.
10/05 –12/05 Fox Television
Novell to Exchange Migration – Custom Scripting
 Responsible for the development of all scripting (Visual Basic and VBScript) to facilitate the
migration process of the entire Fox Television family from Novell to Microsoft Active
Directory and Exchange where vendormigration tools have gaps.The types of processes
include accessing over4000 remote machines to prep them for migration, scheduling tasks,
remove and installing certain software and files.
 Additionally, code has been developed to update Active Directory and Microsoft Exchange
directly.
01/05 – 09/05 American Honda Motors
Database Applications Migration
 Responsible for developing and implementing the entire process of migrating all legacy
Microsoft Access databases to Access 20002003. The project required cataloging and
documenting over 11,000 databases across the American Honda enterprise.
 This process included discovery,migration planning, test plan creation, QA, user acceptance
testing,implementation and migration.
06/04 – 01/05 Amgen
Database/Software Development and Data Integration
 Developed and designed a Microsoft AccessSQL Server 2005 application to maintain the
implementation and ongoing support of 4,000 Amgen employees who were using Remote
Connectivity. All aspects ofthe process from initiation, fulfillment by high speed connectivity
vendors and life cycle updates were incorporated.
 As part of the ongoing maintenance, was responsible for administering the SQL Server
database backend and ensuring integration from various data sources including Microsoft
Excel, Access,LDAP sources and Outlook Objects.
02/04 – 06/04 Nestle USA – GWAN
Software/Database Development and Data Integration
 Designed and implemented a front-end Microsoft Access database with a SQL Server
2000 data repository. Also designed a web reporting tool (Active Server Pages,Java) which is
utilized by over 15,000 users across North and South America.
 The overall purpose of the project was to 1) integrate with the Orion Solar Winds Network
Monitoring Suite for mission critical network monitoring across the Americas; 2) provide

reporting and networking data to all users within the environment; and 3) provide a single entry
point for reconciliation of budgeting and invoicing of network related costs across the
enterprise.
 The budgeting module process flow required integration and extraction of multi-million dollar
Microsoft Excel invoices submitted by Infonet to Nestle.
 The above project was so successfulthat the Nestle AOA (Asia, Oceania, and Africa) region
tasked us to implement the same solution for their region of the world. (5/04 – 4/05).
06/03 – 02/04 Nestle USA – Intel
Database/Software Development and Data Integration
 Developed a web reporting tool (Active Server Pages) which integrates with the Tivoli
Management Suite (Oracle database backend). This application is used throughout North and
South America by end users to locate information specific to their own workstation and by
managers to determine ongoing requirements and needs based on aggregate and regional data.
 There is also an Active Directory component which allows application users to locate anyone in
Nestle USA and their associated data (email, group memberships, phone numbers, direct
reports, etc.) through the Windows ADSI component.
12/02 – 06/03 Lemon Grove School District
Database Migration
 Responsible for migrating and designing the database maintenance and administration of
all disparate SQL Server databases (6.5 – 2000)throughout this schooldistrict onto a multi
node server cluster.
 These mission critical databases support over10,000 users in their enterprise.
 Additional responsibilities included identifying necessary application changes (VB, ASP, Java),
development of a procedures manual for managing the SQL Server 2000 databases and
providing guidance for current application development.
10/02 – 08/03 California Industrial Electric
Database/Software Development
 Created an Engineering Project Tracking application which was developed using Visual Basic,
Access,and SQL Server 2000. This application integrates with Microsoft Outlook and
Microsoft Office.
 The functionality of this application has a front end interface which is the primary data entry
point. All data is then integrated immediately into Outlook and anotherproprietary system
using SQL Server Stored Procedures (T-SQL), Distributed Transaction Services (DTS)
and the Outlook API.
 The application also automatically generates and in some cases emails, dynamically created
Word documents and Excel spreadsheets representing complex engineering calculations. The
calculations and project data are extracted from master Excel files which are updated
constantly.
09/01 – 09/02 Maverick Desk Manufacturing
Database/Software Development
 Developed an Access 97 application with SQL Server backend. This application was further
enhanced with a finished goods inventory piece utilizing Windows CE and the Pocket PC.
 Required to define, configure and maintain all SQL Server 2000 databases and servers.
 Responsible for database administration functions including, managing service packs,
backuprestores,performance planning, etc.
 Additionally, utilizing customized SQL Server 7.0 Stored Procedures (T-SQL) and DTS
packages, the application integrates with SyteLine Manufacturing software and Pattern
Systems Cut Planner for plant floor material optimization.

 Obtained functional requirements, designed and created a complete order entry, production
tracking and invoicing application for one of the largest office furniture manufacturers in the
United States.
 Administration and management of the SQL Server databases were performed on an
ongoing basis.
02/01 – 09/01 Associate Records Technician Services
Database/Software Development
 Developed applications utilizing Active Server Pages (ASP), Java, Access 2000, and SQL
Server.
 Developed a complete work order processing application that allows ARTS to track all client
service requests and the assigned employees.
 Employee data is also captured for Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable management.
 All month end reporting is converted into highly detailed Excel files to be integrated with the
corporate offices SAP accounting system.

Software/Excel Development  Developed an application integrating Microsoft Access,Excel and Cognos data imports.  This application is used to forecast demand and production for the next ten years of all Amgen’s current and speculative bio-technology products.  An additional Microsoft Excel custominterface integrates and exchanges data with the Microsoft Access database to assist in developing scenarios to estimate manufacturing center utilization. Also, there are numerous Exchange Event Sink Event Script modules (Visual Basic DLLs) that required upgrading.  Member of a multimillion dollar project which encompasses migration of the entire enterprise to Windows 2003. There is high visibility as this agency provides water services to the entire West Coast and has more than 15 million clients.  Integrated Exchange and Exchange Event Sinks with Microsoft SharePoint as a data repository as well as for document maintenance and administration.  Additional development and enhancements of existing customforms was also required. 11/05 – 02/06 Flatwire Technologies Website Development  Developed and launched complete website including an online store.The application was written in Active Server Pages (ASP.NET), Java, VBScript with a SQL Server database backend, SQL Server Reporting Services and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).  Integrated web store with QuickBooks Pro Enterprise Edition.  Responsible for ongoing changes and maintenance of the SQL Server 2005 database as well as online marketing functions. 10/05 –12/05 Fox Television Novell to Exchange Migration – Custom Scripting  Responsible for the development of all scripting (Visual Basic and VBScript) to facilitate the migration process of the entire Fox Television family from Novell to Microsoft Active Directory and Exchange where vendormigration tools have gaps.The types of processes include accessing over4000 remote machines to prep them for migration, scheduling tasks, remove and installing certain software and files.  Additionally, code has been developed to update Active Directory and Microsoft Exchange directly. 01/05 – 09/05 American Honda Motors Database Applications Migration  Responsible for developing and implementing the entire process of migrating all legacy Microsoft Access databases to Access 20002003. The project required cataloging and documenting over 11,000 databases across the American Honda enterprise.  This process included discovery,migration planning, test plan creation, QA, user acceptance testing,implementation and migration. 06/04 – 01/05 Amgen Database/Software Development and Data Integration  Developed and designed a Microsoft AccessSQL Server 2005 application to maintain the implementation and ongoing support of 4,000 Amgen employees who were using Remote Connectivity. All aspects ofthe process from initiation, fulfillment by high speed connectivity vendors and life cycle updates were incorporated.  As part of the ongoing maintenance, was responsible for administering the SQL Server database backend and ensuring integration from various data sources including Microsoft Excel, Access,LDAP sources and Outlook Objects. 02/04 – 06/04 Nestle USA – GWAN Software/Database Development and Data Integration  Designed and implemented a front-end Microsoft Access database with a SQL Server 2000 data repository. (5/04 – 4/05). 06/03 – 02/04 Nestle USA – Intel Database/Software Development and Data Integration  Developed a web reporting tool (Active Server Pages) which integrates with the Tivoli Management Suite (Oracle database backend). This application is used throughout North and South America by end users to locate information specific to their own workstation and by managers to determine ongoing requirements and needs based on aggregate and regional data.  There is also an Active Directory component which allows application users to locate anyone in Nestle USA and their associated data (email, group memberships, phone numbers, direct reports, etc.) through the Windows ADSI component. 12/02 – 06/03 Lemon Grove School District Database Migration  Responsible for migrating and designing the database maintenance and administration of all disparate SQL Server databases (6.5 – 2000)throughout this schooldistrict onto a multi node server cluster.  These mission critical databases support over10,000 users in their enterprise.  Additional responsibilities included identifying necessary application changes (VB, ASP, Java), development of a procedures manual for managing the SQL Server 2000 databases and providing guidance for current application development. 10/02 – 08/03 California Industrial Electric Database/Software Development  Created an Engineering Project Tracking application which was developed using Visual Basic, Access,and SQL Server 2000. This application integrates with Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Office.  The functionality of this application has a front end interface which is the primary data entry point. All data is then integrated immediately into Outlook and anotherproprietary system using SQL Server Stored Procedures (T-SQL), Distributed Transaction Services (DTS) and the Outlook API.  The application also automatically generates and in some cases emails, dynamically created Word documents and Excel spreadsheets representing complex engineering calculations. The calculations and project data are extracted from master Excel files which are updated constantly. 09/01 – 09/02 Maverick Desk Manufacturing Database/Software Development  Developed an Access 97 application with SQL Server backend. This application was further enhanced with a finished goods inventory piece utilizing Windows CE and the Pocket PC.  Required to define, configure and maintain all SQL Server 2000 databases and servers.  Responsible for database administration functions including, managing service packs, backuprestores,performance planning, etc.  Additionally, utilizing customized SQL Server 7.0 Stored Procedures (T-SQL) and DTS packages, the application integrates with SyteLine Manufacturing software and Pattern Systems Cut Planner for plant floor material optimization.
