In recent years, many incidences of
mental ill-health have tremendously
increased and have posed a serious
problem in the nation. Industrial
development, social and economical
changes have given rise to a number
of new problems.
The problem of mental health has
acquired importance in the
programmes of national development.
National development is depends on
the youth of the nation. But the youths
were put into the mental illness due to
some internal and external factor of
an individual.
The ability to adjust satisfactory to
the various strains of the
environment we meet in life and
mental hygiene as the means, we
take to assure this adjustments.

 Provide proper affection and love to the child.
 Provide conductive environment in home.
 Do not criticize the child.
 Do not compare the child with other children.
 Don’t ask irritable questions to the child
 Be a friend in time
 Don’t use harsh words to the child while they
did wrong
 Do not reject or overprotect the child.
Home Atmosphere:
 Do not quarrel in present of the child.
 Do not be over anxious about the
future of the child.
 Try to be democratic in your dealings.
 Meet legitimate needs of your child.
 Provide guidance where necessary and
build self-confidence in the child.
School Atmosphere:
 Bad environment

 school rejects proper human relations
 Less facility of schools
 Irrespective activities of teachers and

 Adaptability and resilient mind
 Social adaptable
 Emotionally satisfied autocratic style of

approved goals

 Enthusiastic and reasonable

 meditation and it reduced all types of
mental stress of an individual.
 continuous meditation leads the
individual as destructive emotional
and stress free individual.
physical problems may be reduced
within the range like asthma, high
blood pressure, lower back pain,
arthritic, menstrual problems, stress,
anxiety and depression.
 oxygen is clearly circulated.
 The postures and bending activity
makes the body fitness and
strengthens.
Yoga is a best practice

enhance both
physical and mental well being
