Araw ng Sabado. Maagang gumising ang magkapatid na Jasper at Justin
dahil sa field trip nila sa Manila Zoo. Agad silang naghanda ng kanilang
mga sarili upang makarating sila sa tamang oras sa hintayang lugar.
Nakarating ang lahat sa tamang oras kaya’t sila ay masayang nakaalis
patungong Manila Zoo. Masayang-masaya ang mga bata habang
naglalakbay. May tawanan, kuwentuhan, at siyempre may kainan.
MANILA ZOO
On Saturday, the brothers Jasper and Justin woke up early because of
their field trip to the Manila Zoo. They immediately prepared themselves
so that they could arrive at the waiting area at the right time. Everyone
arrived on time, so they happily left for the Manila Zoo. Children are very
happy while traveling. There is laughter, conversation, and, of course,
food.

A few moments later, they arrived at the Manila Zoo.
Before they got off the bus, the teacher reminded them
again of the dos and don'ts of each one for a smooth
ride inside the Manila Zoo.
Pagkamangha at pagkagulat ang naramdaman ng bawat isa sa
nakita nilang mga hayop na ligaw tulad ng spotted deer, Philippine
Eagle, tamaraw, pond turtle, tarsier, crocodile, at marami pang iba sa
loob ng Manila Zoo.
Everyone felt amazed and surprised when they saw wild animals
such as spotted deer, Philippine Eagle, tamaraw, pond turtle, tarsier,
crocodile, and many others inside the Manila Zoo.
Ipinaliwanag din ng kanilang guro ang iba’t ibang pamamaraan ng
pag-aalaga at pagkalinga sa mga nabanggit na hayop na ligaw.
Ipinaalala rin sa bawat isa na nararapat lang na mahalin at alagaang
mabuti ang mga endangered animals. Maaari silang maprotekhanan
sa pamamagitan ng sumusunod
Also, their teacher explained the different methods for taking care of
and protecting the mentioned wild animals. Everyone was also
reminded that it is appropriate to love and take good care of
endangered animals. They can be protected by the following:

Wild animals are animals which are not
domesticated. Like lions, bears,etc. The wild
animals are the animals that live on their own
without any help from people, a wild animal finds
its own shelter, food, water and all other needs.

Tandaan natin na mayroon tayong responsibilidad upang
protektahan ang wildlife, mga ibon, isda, at halaman sa
bingit ng pagkaubos. Mangako tayo na gagawin natin
ang mga bagay na nabanggit dahil sila ay katulad din
nating mga tao na nilikha o nilalang ng Poong Maykapal.
Let's remember that we have a responsibility to protect
wildlife, birds, fish, and plants on the brink of extinction or
from dying out. Let's promise that we will do the things
mentioned because they are also like us, people who were
created by God.
Sa pagkakataong ito, ang mga bata ay mahusay na nakinig
sa pagbabahagi sa kaalaman ng tour guide kung paano
makatutulong ang bawat isa upang protektahan ang mga
endangered animals. Ipinaalala rin niya ang sumusunod:
This time, the children listened well to the tour guide's

Everyone went home with a smile on their face because they
learned a lot during the field trip to the Manila Zoo.

PANUTO:
Sa isang malinis na papel gumuhit ng nararapat na tirahan ng
mga endangered animals. Lagyan ng marka o pangalan kung
saan mo ilalagay ang bawat isa. Ipaliwanag sa klase ang mga
iginuhit.
Instructions: On a piece of bond paper, draw the appropriate
address/house/habitat for endangered animals. Label or name where you
place each one. Explain the drawings to the class.
TANDAAN NATIN!
Care for animals is one of the good qualities that Filipinos
have. By doing this, we are showing our love for God
because it is one of his creations.
According to Republic Act No. 8485, known as the “Animal Welfare Act of 1988," this
was the first law that comprehensively provided citizens with the right and proper care
of all animals in the Philippines. The law says that all animals must be provided with
proper care, and anyone found to be in violation of this can be punished.
In Section 6 of the law, ill-treatment and harming animals are
prohibited. It's also written that you can't kill animals except
those that are eaten, like cows, pigs, goats, sheep, chickens, and
other poultry, rabbits, buffalo, horses, deer, and crocodiles.
It is a violation of the law to kill animals not mentioned unless it is
due to a ritual religion, serious animal diseases, or animal
suppression if the animal or people near it are in danger.
The Animal Welfare Act is considered a landmark law because it
was the first to recognize cruelty to animals as a violation of the law.
According to Luz Corpuz of the Protected Animal Welfare Bureau
(PAWB), they also gave amnesty to those who take care of protected
and endangered animals. Proper education and not catching those who
take care of protected and endangered ones see animals as the solution.
There is a process they follow for anyone who wants to take care of any
kind of protected or endangered species. For those who are stubborn and
want to try, imprisonment of two to four years or a fine of P200,000.00;
anyone found guilty will face P300,000.00 for violating RA 9147.

Agad silang naghanda ng kanilang mga sarili upang makarating sila sa tamang oras sa hintayang lugar. Nakarating ang lahat sa tamang oras kaya’t sila ay masayang nakaalis patungong Manila Zoo. Masayang-masaya ang mga bata habang naglalakbay. May tawanan, kuwentuhan, at siyempre may kainan. MANILA ZOO
