INTRODUCTION

Today more than ever it is essential to learn the English language. Every day is
used more in almost all areas of knowledge and human development. Practically it
can be argued that this is the language of the world. It is, in the era of globalization,
the great international language, a "lingua franca" that has affected all non
AngloSaxon countries, including Spain, affecting more or less directly to the
various fields and professions. Possession can not be treated as a luxury, but a
clear need. Moreover, even as he said that language would not dominate a distinct
disadvantage: it would be as if dumb or semi-literate. And than enough reason to
say it. The aim of this paper is, then, to see these reasons and educate youth and
their families from the enormous importance of acquiring that language.

In this portfolio contains my work done as student of the sixth level of English
module, which show my performance as a student in my studies, as it is important
to emphasize that all these works have been done to implement the knowledge
acquired in the classroom estañera and review the contents. Also in the same final
project is presented as a note most of the module.
Natural Disasters

We say that a natural disaster caused by several events in nature they
may be within the land or on land.
In recent years we have realized that our planet is the victim of major
disasters caused by climate change and these increasingly serious. Thus, we face
new climate risks and the potential for greater losses both human and material.

In our country you can cause earthquakes (earthquakes), floods, droughts,
tsunamis which occur on the coast, the threat is known
as seismic tremors originate from the center of the earth according to
the underground activity of a volcano eruption process can cause a similar
phenomenon.

One of the natural disasters that led to our country and I remember most is the
eruption of the Tungurahua volcano which forced the evacuation of the
residents having to leave their homes and their animals to shelter and be safe from
this disaster.

Another natural disaster or climate we're living we realize that climate change is
sunnyin the morning and afternoon rains and this is due to global warming refers to
the gradual increase in temperature of the atmosphere and oceans Earth

conclusions

Natural disasters have a different origin from the nature and partly by
pollution caused by man himself. Several factors can lead to loss of land,
not only is pollution and not the internal motion of the earth which gives rise to all
the natural disasters we witnessed in this period.
And for this we must be prevented if these disasters occur.
The verbal forms of the future

The museum opens at 10 o’clock next Sunday.

* It rains tomorrow.

I’m seeing the dentist tomorrow evening.

*It is raining tomorrow.

Going to – Se utiliza para hablar de:
      1. Decisiones e intenciones: I’m going to stop smoking.
basadas en alguna evidencia): She’s going to have a baby in summer.
      3. El “futuro en el pasado” (future in the past): Last time I saw you, you
were going to take up a job in the City.

acompañado por expresiones como I think, I don’t think, I hope
…//probably: I hope I will visit Japan one day.
       2. Hablar de situaciones muy seguras que ocurrirán en el futuro: I will be
           thirty next week.
3. Expresar una decisión espontánea o una promesa. Para este valor,
normalmente utilizamos la forma reducida ‘ll: The phone is ringing! I’ll
get it // I’ll call you tomorrow.
      4. Hacer una demanda o dar una orden: Will you get me a newspaper
when you go to the bank? / Will you stop talking, please?
         work.

Shall – Algunos locutores británicos utilizan I shall o we shall en lugar de I
will o we will, en general sin que haya ninguna diferencia de
significado. Shall no es habitual en inglés americano. Se puede utilizar para:
       1. Expresar una promesa (como una versión más formal de I’ll…): You
           shall not lie.
       2. Hacer una oferta o una sugerencia, de manera muy formal: Shall we go
out for dinner tonight? – Una versión más informal seria: Would you like
           to go out…?

At this time tomorrow, I will be lying on a beach in the Bahamas.

By 10 o’clock tomorrow, I will have finished my exam.

     Expresiones en infinitivo:
      1. Be about + infinitive: Indica que una situación tendrá lugar en un futuro
muy próximo: The plane is about to take off.
      2. Be + infinitive: Para hablar de planes, programas, actividades planeadas
King is to visit Copenhague in January.” 1
Environment, Sources of Water, Uses of Water

ENVIRONMENT: the environment is all around for example the air, sun, clouds,
trees, plants, people, and animals, etc.

SOURCES OF WATER: We have fresh water sources like rivers, lakes,
springs, etc.. and salt water sources as seas, oceans etc.

THE USES OF WATER: Water is essential to life which can be used for drinking,
bathing, cooking, cleaning, agriculture, and ecosystem.
ADMINISTRATIVE PROCESSES

This article is being written by Andres Cando school student in business
administration and marketing. I am in the sixth level of the subject of English with
the teacher Ivan Fuertes.

The classical theory of management was created by Henry Fayol who made great
contributions to what is the administration. What they say in this article is about the
administrative process which is composed of:

    Planning
    Organization
    Management and
    Control

PLANNING. - This stage is where you set the objectives to be achieved over time,
the next step is to reach them.
The objectives are raised by the manager and a group of collaborators.

ORGANIZATION.- is in the distribution of labor among group members and to
establish and recognize the necessary relationships.

PERFORMANCE.- focuses on group members to carry out the tasks required will
and enthusiasm.

CONTROL.- This refers to all activities that make up each of the plans have been
established.

Conclusion

In conclusion we can say that administrative processes not only serve the time to
run a business but will also serve to enhance the realization of our ideas and
projects, since through plans, these ideas are organized, run, and finally
establishing control of the desired results.
INVENTS

We as administrations and marketing companies use SPSS “Statical Product and
Service Solutions” is a program like Excel.

SPSS we use in market research, we provide a tabulation of the surveys we have
done for example to consumers in a supermarket, making several questions in the
survey and then diguitar the data obtained in this program by making our
work efficiently and efficient, for example by determining the percentage of
consumers are satisfied with our product.

We in this program we introduce a data base and tabulated showing the result in
astatesman, which in the graphical representation can be selected according as we
desire as seen in the following figures.
In conclusion

It is an easy to use, covers any quantity of data is handled according to the
language you want and helps the work is done faster and in a precise manner so
that helps us to reduce time.

In my opinion

This program helps us make the best decisions to meet the objectives which helps
us develop strategies for those disadvantages we have obtained through the
surveys.
PERSONAL PRONOUNS

Personal pronouns represent specific people or things. We use them depending
on:

We use personal pronouns in place of the person or people that we are talking
about. My name is Andres but when I am talking about myself I almost always use
"I" or "me", not "Andres". When I am talking direct to you, I almost always use
"you", not your name. When I am talking about another person, say John, I may
start with "John" but then use "he" or "him". And so on.

Here are the personal pronouns, followed by some example sentences:

           number person gender personal pronouns

                                                  subject object

           singular 1st male/female I me

                      2nd male/female you you

                      3rd male he him

                             female she her

                             neuter it it

           plural 1st male/female we us

                      2nd male/female you you

                      3rd male/female/neuter they them

Examples (in each case, the first example shows a subject pronoun, the second
an object pronoun):

      I like coffee.
      John helped me.

      Do you like coffee?
      John loves you.

      He runs fast.
Did Ram beat him?

      She is clever.
      Does Mary know her?

      It doesn't work.
      Can the engineer repair it?

      We went home.
      Anthony drove us.

Do you need a table for three?
Did John and Mary beat you at doubles?

      They played doubles.
      John and Mary beat them.

When we are talking about a single thing, we almost always use it. However, there
are a few exceptions. We may sometimes refer to an animal as he/him or she/her,
especially if the animal is domesticated or a pet. Ships (and some other vessels or
vehicles) as well as some countries are often treated as female and referred to
as she/her. Here are some examples:

This is our dog Rusty. He's an Alsation.
The Titanic was a great ship but she sank on her first voyage.
My first car was a Mini and I treated her like my wife.
Thailand has now opened her border with Cambodia.

For a single person, sometimes we don't know whether to use he or she. There
are several solutions to this:

If a teacher needs help, he or she should see the principal.
If a teacher needs help, he should see the principal.
If a teacher needs help, they should see the principal.

We often use it to introduce a remark:

It is nice to have a holiday sometimes.
It is important to dress well.
It's difficult to find a job.
Is it normal to see them together?
It didn't take long to walk here.
UNREAL SITUATIONS

Well first I am a person who likes sports, basketball fan, I love this sport, the
practical and team play in a city.

If I could be a famous person ... I would be like Lebron James, professional
basketball player.

• If I were Lebron James , I would have his style of play .. both his shots, dunks and
plays,
• would have to train a lot to like him so well, do look good to my team and be one
of the most valuable players.
• I know the NBA players do Social Work, so I would help children to encourage the
sport such as basketball.
• If I were Lebron James, I have a lot of money and fame.
• would sign a contract with the companies recognized in the world month: such as
Nike.

1. TOPIC

Advantages and Disadvantages of Using Cell Phone

 2. JUSTIFICATION

Currently with the ongoing modernization and with the passing of time the cell
phone has evolved and now everyone can use with this device the people seek to
modernize, it is the manipulation of new electronic equipment.

The media these days is to use tools that allow the ease of acquiring information.
And with that a new communication, the use of current technology shows people
the need to belong to this period, and by that I mean the manipulation of cells,
which now has the best cell means to be cool. It is understood that children are
now from cell phones to communicate. Now the information can be available to
your hands or it is said, also included here for ease of communication.

 3. DESCRIPTION

The most important thing to have a cell phone is that it helps bridge the gap. By
having a mobile phone, we can quickly contact with the person, no matter how far
you are, and in almost any place where we are. This is possible because this
device is completely portable.
A further positive feature is that no communication is possible only through the
voice but also by writing, using text messages.
The texting is much cheaper than calling and expands the possibilities of
availability, as they almost always arrive.
Having a cell phone, makes the communication is direct and available as long as
the user's device itself decides on and receive calls. If this is not the case, there is
the possibility of leaving a voice message which can be heard then.
We have appointed some advantages now will name some disadvantages.
By having so many options for communication and entertainment in a single
instrument, which is also portable, causes lower levels of care for people who use
it, to the point of disconnect from the environment at the time to enjoy it.
A common feeling of mobile phone users is that when they forget the phone, or any
other circumstance not carry, feel cut off, and even "naked", causing great
expectation and anxiety, not knowing who calls or send messages.
Having a cell, results in that we have an identification number, which in rare cases
is private, then anyone has the possibility to contact us at any time of day, whether
we like it or not. Oddly enough, the phone also is a medium that disseminates
obscene and inappropriate, and lends itself to promote certain misconduct as
infidelity, lust, anger, and a host of destructive feelings.

4. CONCLUSION

In conclusion, communication is a process of interaction that exists from the
moment of the appearance of man, which he has served since the existence of this
order to communicate with other human beings, and thus able to express their
feelings, thoughts and ideas.

Definitely should not fail to mention that the use of this device has been to cause
changes in the behavior of their users, which has caused dependency and this has
led them to have changes in their behavior and outlook on life.

actually the cell phone that we can not avoid. To the extent that cell phones give us
an effective tool for a better quality of life we will see how this technology will
gradually be part of our daily lives as it is.

   3. GRAMMAR AND TOPICS OF THE LEVEL WHICH ARE INVOLVED IN:

In my project, I used multiple grammatical resources such as:
Be able to /can/could/may/will and must/have to/need to, and full infinitive and
   bare infinitive
described in the module Let´s communicate

   4. GRAPHIC RESOURCES

Resources that used are:
The images that describe each of the administrative processes

   5. COMMUNICATIVE SKILLS

The development of communication skills is another feature, the possibility of
transfer in the sense that communication skills are not developed for a certain time
or action, it becomes a quality response in a form applicable to multiple situations
share essentially the same nature, hence the talk of that communication skills
developed by an individual constitute a way to solve tasks in areas of activity and is
English.

   6. CONCLUSIONS

In conclusion we can say that administrative processes not only serve the time to
run a business but will also serve to enhance the realization of our ideas and
projects, since through plans, these ideas are organized, run, and finally
establishing control of the desired results.

ENGLISH PORTFOLIO

  • 1. 12 State Polytechnic University Carchi Student Portfolio In this modern world of continuing interactions, where the predominant referred as globalization, English has been converted by their own merit in the undisputed tool of international communication. Héctor Andrés Cando Chuga SIX LEVEL 03/08/2012
  • 2. INTRODUCTION Today more than ever it is essential to learn the English language. Every day is used more in almost all areas of knowledge and human development. Practically it can be argued that this is the language of the world. It is, in the era of globalization, the great international language, a "lingua franca" that has affected all non AngloSaxon countries, including Spain, affecting more or less directly to the various fields and professions. Possession can not be treated as a luxury, but a clear need. Moreover, even as he said that language would not dominate a distinct disadvantage: it would be as if dumb or semi-literate. And than enough reason to say it. The aim of this paper is, then, to see these reasons and educate youth and their families from the enormous importance of acquiring that language. In this portfolio contains my work done as student of the sixth level of English module, which show my performance as a student in my studies, as it is important to emphasize that all these works have been done to implement the knowledge acquired in the classroom estañera and review the contents. Also in the same final project is presented as a note most of the module.
  • 3. Natural Disasters We say that a natural disaster caused by several events in nature they may be within the land or on land. In recent years we have realized that our planet is the victim of major disasters caused by climate change and these increasingly serious. Thus, we face new climate risks and the potential for greater losses both human and material. In our country you can cause earthquakes (earthquakes), floods, droughts, tsunamis which occur on the coast, the threat is known as seismic tremors originate from the center of the earth according to the underground activity of a volcano eruption process can cause a similar phenomenon. One of the natural disasters that led to our country and I remember most is the eruption of the Tungurahua volcano which forced the evacuation of the residents having to leave their homes and their animals to shelter and be safe from this disaster. Another natural disaster or climate we're living we realize that climate change is sunnyin the morning and afternoon rains and this is due to global warming refers to the gradual increase in temperature of the atmosphere and oceans Earth conclusions Natural disasters have a different origin from the nature and partly by pollution caused by man himself. Several factors can lead to loss of land, not only is pollution and not the internal motion of the earth which gives rise to all the natural disasters we witnessed in this period. And for this we must be prevented if these disasters occur.
The museum opens at 10 o’clock next Sunday. * It rains tomorrow. I’m seeing the dentist tomorrow evening. *It is raining tomorrow. Going to – Se utiliza para hablar de: 1. Decisiones e intenciones: I’m going to stop smoking. 2. Predicciones “informadas” (con un alto grado de fiabilidad, normalmente basadas en alguna evidencia): She’s going to have a baby in summer. 3. El “futuro en el pasado” (future in the past): Last time I saw you, you were going to take up a job in the City. I think, I don’t think, I hope …//probably: I hope I will visit Japan one day. 2. I will be thirty next week.
  • 5. 3. Expresar una decisión espontánea o una promesa. Para este valor, normalmente utilizamos la forma reducida ‘ll: The phone is ringing! I’ll get it // I’ll call you tomorrow. 4. Hacer una demanda o dar una orden: Will you get me a newspaper when you go to the bank? / Will you stop talking, please? 5. The printer won’t work. Shall – Algunos locutores británicos utilizan I shall o we shall en lugar de I will o we will, en general sin que haya ninguna diferencia de significado. I’ll…): You shall not lie. 2. Hacer una oferta o una sugerencia, de manera muy formal: Shall we go out for dinner tonight? – Una versión más informal seria: Would you like to go out…? El Future Progressive ( will be + Ving) – Se utiliza para hablar de situaciones en “curso” en un momento del futuro: At this time tomorrow, I will be lying on a beach in the Bahamas. El Future Perfect (will have + past participle) – Se utiliza para hablar de situaciones que estarán finalizadas antes de un momento futuro: By 10 o’clock tomorrow, I will have finished my exam. Expresiones en infinitivo: 1. Be about + infinitive: Indica que una situación tendrá lugar en un futuro muy próximo: The plane is about to take off. 2. The King is to visit Copenhague in January.” 1
  • 6. Environment, Sources of Water, Uses of Water ENVIRONMENT: the environment is all around for example the air, sun, clouds, trees, plants, people, and animals, etc. SOURCES OF WATER: We have fresh water sources like rivers, lakes, springs, etc.. and salt water sources as seas, oceans etc. THE USES OF WATER: Water is essential to life which can be used for drinking, bathing, cooking, cleaning, agriculture, and ecosystem.
  • 7. ADMINISTRATIVE PROCESSES This article is being written by Andres Cando school student in business administration and marketing. I am in the sixth level of the subject of English with the teacher Ivan Fuertes. The classical theory of management was created by Henry Fayol who made great contributions to what is the administration. What they say in this article is about the administrative process which is composed of:  Planning  Organization  Management and  Control PLANNING. - This stage is where you set the objectives to be achieved over time, the next step is to reach them. The objectives are raised by the manager and a group of collaborators. ORGANIZATION.- is in the distribution of labor among group members and to establish and recognize the necessary relationships. PERFORMANCE.- focuses on group members to carry out the tasks required will and enthusiasm. CONTROL.- This refers to all activities that make up each of the plans have been established. Conclusion In conclusion we can say that administrative processes not only serve the time to run a business but will also serve to enhance the realization of our ideas and projects, since through plans, these ideas are organized, run, and finally establishing control of the desired results.
  • 8. INVENTS We as administrations and marketing companies use SPSS “Statical Product and Service Solutions” is a program like Excel. SPSS we use in market research, we provide a tabulation of the surveys we have done for example to consumers in a supermarket, making several questions in the survey and then diguitar the data obtained in this program by making our work efficiently and efficient, for example by determining the percentage of consumers are satisfied with our product. We in this program we introduce a data base and tabulated showing the result in astatesman, which in the graphical representation can be selected according as we desire as seen in the following figures.
  • 9. In conclusion It is an easy to use, covers any quantity of data is handled according to the language you want and helps the work is done faster and in a precise manner so that helps us to reduce time. In my opinion This program helps us make the best decisions to meet the objectives which helps us develop strategies for those disadvantages we have obtained through the surveys.
  • 10. PERSONAL PRONOUNS Personal pronouns represent specific people or things. We use them depending on: We use personal pronouns in place of the person or people that we are talking about. My name is Andres but when I am talking about myself I almost always use "I" or "me", not "Andres". When I am talking direct to you, I almost always use "you", not your name. When I am talking about another person, say John, I may start with "John" but then use "he" or "him". And so on. Here are the personal pronouns, followed by some example sentences: number person gender personal pronouns subject object singular 1st male/female I me 2nd male/female you you 3rd male he him female she her neuter it it plural 1st male/female we us 2nd male/female you you 3rd male/female/neuter they them Examples (in each case, the first example shows a subject pronoun, the second an object pronoun): I like coffee. John helped me. Do you like coffee? John loves you. He runs fast.

Did John and Mary beat you at doubles? They played doubles. John and Mary beat them. When we are talking about a single thing, we almost always use it. However, there are a few exceptions. We may sometimes refer to an animal as he/him or she/her, especially if the animal is domesticated or a pet. Ships (and some other vessels or vehicles) as well as some countries are often treated as female and referred to as she/her. Here are some examples: This is our dog Rusty. He's an Alsation. The Titanic was a great ship but she sank on her first voyage. My first car was a Mini and I treated her like my wife. Thailand has now opened her border with Cambodia. For a single person, sometimes we don't know whether to use he or she. There are several solutions to this: If a teacher needs help, he or she should see the principal. If a teacher needs help, he should see the principal. If a teacher needs help, they should see the principal. We often use it to introduce a remark: It is nice to have a holiday sometimes. It is important to dress well. It's difficult to find a job. Is it normal to see them together? It didn't take long to walk here.

  • 17. STATE POLYTECHNIC UNIVERSITY CARCHI TEACHER: PROF.IVAN FUERTES STUDENT: HECTOR ANDRES CANDO CHUGA 1. TOPIC Advantages and Disadvantages of Using Cell Phone 2. JUSTIFICATION Currently with the ongoing modernization and with the passing of time the cell phone has evolved and now everyone can use with this device the people seek to modernize, it is the manipulation of new electronic equipment. The media these days is to use tools that allow the ease of acquiring information. And with that a new communication, the use of current technology shows people the need to belong to this period, and by that I mean the manipulation of cells, which now has the best cell means to be cool. It is understood that children are now from cell phones to communicate. Now the information can be available to your hands or it is said, also included here for ease of communication. 3. DESCRIPTION The most important thing to have a cell phone is that it helps bridge the gap. By having a mobile phone, we can quickly contact with the person, no matter how far you are, and in almost any place where we are. This is possible because this device is completely portable. A further positive feature is that no communication is possible only through the voice but also by writing, using text messages. The texting is much cheaper than calling and expands the possibilities of availability, as they almost always arrive. Having a cell phone, makes the communication is direct and available as long as the user's device itself decides on and receive calls. If this is not the case, there is the possibility of leaving a voice message which can be heard then. We have appointed some advantages now will name some disadvantages.
  • 18. By having so many options for communication and entertainment in a single instrument, which is also portable, causes lower levels of care for people who use it, to the point of disconnect from the environment at the time to enjoy it. A common feeling of mobile phone users is that when they forget the phone, or any other circumstance not carry, feel cut off, and even "naked", causing great expectation and anxiety, not knowing who calls or send messages. Having a cell, results in that we have an identification number, which in rare cases is private, then anyone has the possibility to contact us at any time of day, whether we like it or not. Oddly enough, the phone also is a medium that disseminates obscene and inappropriate, and lends itself to promote certain misconduct as infidelity, lust, anger, and a host of destructive feelings. 4. CONCLUSION In conclusion, communication is a process of interaction that exists from the moment of the appearance of man, which he has served since the existence of this order to communicate with other human beings, and thus able to express their feelings, thoughts and ideas. Definitely should not fail to mention that the use of this device has been to cause changes in the behavior of their users, which has caused dependency and this has led them to have changes in their behavior and outlook on life. actually the cell phone that we can not avoid. To the extent that cell phones give us an effective tool for a better quality of life we will see how this technology will gradually be part of our daily lives as it is.
