What is Ecommerce?
Ecommerce is just the process of buying and selling produce by
electronic means such as by mobile applications and the
Internet. 
Ecommerce enables you to buy and sell products on a  global
scale.
While most people think of ecommerce as business to consumer
(B2C), there are many other types of ecommerce.
In the early 2000’s many people were skeptical about handing
over their card details to an online retailer.

and money are spent on driving traffic and not enough on conversion

Test your site with your customers, potential customers, and their
influencers. Make sure that what you've designed is easy and
pleasurable to use. Watch people complete tasks on the site and see
whether it's a simple, frustration-free process. Be sure to test desktop,
laptop, tablet, and mobile. UX influences everything else – SEO, loyalty,
conversion rate, sharing, etc. – and is the most important thing you
