• WHAT POSITIVE FACTORS AFFECT YOU?
STRENGTHS
• OUR UNIVERSITIES ARE QUITE POPULAR AND WELL-KNOWN THROUGHOUT THE REGION;
• PEOPLE VIEW US AS RELIABLE AND GOOD PLACES OF EDUCATION;
• WE HAVE LONG-EXPERIENCED AND COMPETENT TEACHERS WHO ARE ALREADY RETIRED FROM
THE GOVERNMENTAL UNIVERSITIES;
• OUR GRADUATES HAVE MORE WORK CHANCES THAN THEIR COUNTERPARTS OF PUBLIC
UNIVERSITIES;
• THE SOCIETY VIEWS OUR ROLE QUITE POSITIVELY AS WE CONTRIBUTE TO THE SERVICES
PROVIDED TO THE SURROUNDING COMMUNITY IN ONE WAY OR ANOTHER,

1. SOME TEACHERS AT OUR UNIVERSITIES ARE NOT WELL QUALIFIED. THERE IS A
CONSTANT PROCESS OF GUIDING TO MAKE THEM DO BETTER.
2. THERE IS NOT ENOUGH TIME TO COVER THE SYLLABI SET IN THE COURSE BOOKS.
THIS IS DUE TO THE UNEXPECTED INTERRUPTIONS NOW AND THEN.
3. SOME STAFF MEMBERS ARE NOT TRAINED TO USE IT IN THE WAY AS REQUIRED.
4. WE DO NOT HAVE ENOUGH TIES WITH FOREIGN UNIVERSITIES.
5. SOME OF THE PROBLEMS IN THE FORM OF DRAWBACKS THAT WE EXPERIENCE ARE
DUE TO THE POLICIES ADOPTED BY THE MINISTRY OF HIGHER EDUCATION IN ITS
UNBALANCED DEALING WITH BOTH PUBLIC AND PRIVATE UNIVERSITIES.

• WHAT GOOD OPPORTUNITIES CAN YOU SPOT?
• WHAT INTERESTING TRENDS ARE YOU AWARE OF?
• USEFUL OPPORTUNITIES CAN COME FROM SUCH THINGS AS:
• CHANGES IN TECHNOLOGY ON BOTH A BROAD AND NARROW SCALE.
• CHANGES IN GOVERNMENT POLICY RELATED TO YOUR FIELD.
• CHANGES IN SOCIAL PATTERNS, POPULATION PROFILES, LIFESTYLE CHANGES,
AND SO ON.
• LOCAL EVENTS.

• THE OPENING OF NEW COLLEGES AND DEPTS. DUE TO THE GOOD IMPRESSION THE
SURROUNDING COMMUNITY HAS OF US.
• LOOKING FORWARD TO HAVE SOLID ACADEMIC TIES WITH FOREIGN UNIVERSITIES,
• EMPLOYING FOREIGN FACULTY MEMBERS OF GOOD EXPERTISE.
• ADOPTION OF NEW INTERNATIONAL ACADEMIC STANDARDS IN TERMS OF QUALITY
ASSURANCE AND ACCREDITATION SO AS TO ENHANCE OUR POSITION BOTH LOCALLY AND
GLOBALLY.
• TRYING OUR BEST TO PROVIDE WHAT IS BETTER THAN THAT OF COUNTERPARTS.
• KEEPING A CONSTANT EYE ON THE DEVELOPMENTS TAKING PLACE IN THE DOMAINS OF
EDUCATION, SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY.
• PROVIDING BETTER WORKING ENVIRONMENT FOR OUR ACADEMIC AND ADMINISTRATIVE
PERSONNEL SO AS TO MAKE THEM DO THEIR TASKS IN A MORE FRUITFUL WAY.
