to attract and retain customers.
DIFFERENCE BETWEEEN SALES AND

SALES MARKETING
• Focus on sales process, how to interact
with customers, how to answer questions,
and provide relevant information.
• Phone calls, networking, promotional
events.
• Sales is the short term duration.
• It target the Individual or small group.
• Focus on explaining what the product or
service is, how much it costs, who is
most likely to be interested, and where
you can reach those users.
• Paid ads, social media, SEO
• Marketing is the long term duration.
• It target the General Public.
• Approaching the client first.
• Aimed at converting leads into
paying customers.
• Sales follows push strategy.
• Attracting the customer towards the
product
• Aimed at creating awareness,
