This third grade math course aims to improve students' problem solving and communication skills. Students will learn strategies like using base ten blocks, bar graphs, tables, patterns, pictographs, and number sentences to solve a variety of word problems. They will also practice distinguishing estimates from exact answers and interpreting remainders in division. The course provides differentiated instruction through challenging optional activities and forums for sharing solutions at different levels.

along with the opportunity to choose less complex math problems to respond to in
