This document presents a blockchain-based decentralized trust scoring architecture to enhance vehicle-to-vehicle communications in vehicular ad-hoc networks (VANETs) by identifying and blacklisting insider adversaries that can disrupt network performance. The proposed method employs a two-level detection system that assesses trustworthiness through neighboring nodes and aggregates scores using a consortium blockchain mechanism, leading to improved packet delivery ratios and security. The results demonstrate the effectiveness and sustainability of the solution, addressing significant security challenges associated with VANETs.
