Benny the Hero Benny the cat is a hero. He rescues those who are in danger. He is a smart, short-tempered, alert, and brave cat. He is a gray tabby cat with green eyes. He is medium- sized. He wears a blue collar. Benny is a superhero during the day and a part-time math tutor during the evening hours. He wears an electric blue cape with the letter “B” written on it in yellow font. The letter also has a yellow lightning bolt on it. Benny resides in a small apartment by himself. The cool part about Benny’s hero job is that when he wears his superhero cape, he gains superhero powers. For example, he can shoot lasers from his eyes and paws. He gains super-strength. He can blow cold air from his mouth if needed. Benny can also strike lightning. Night vision is one of his powers. He has super speed, which helps him run faster than a cheetah. He can also fly.

Benny’s Fan Mail Questions Benny received a lot of mail from his fans again. He will record a video about it. So, he gets ready to record the video with his camera and begins to read his fan mail. Benny: I got a ton of fan mail again. Here we go! Benny reads the first letter. Benny: Cleo the cat asks, “Benny, what is your zodiac sign?”. I am an Aquarius. Benny: Okay! The next one! Sugar the cat asks, “When is your birthday?”. My birthday is on January 26th. Benny: Let’s get this going. Zu Zu the squirrel asks, “Have you ever gotten a root canal and crowns on your teeth before?”. Yes, I have. Twice. Tooth number 5 and tooth number 19.
Benny: Okay! Bree the zebra asks, “What are you mostly terrified of?”. I am mostly terrified of dogs. Benny: Fizzy the cat writes, “What do you want most out of life?”. A quiet, peaceful, and safe life. Benny: Alright. Ivy the cat asks, “Did you have any friends as a child? Do you have any friends? If so, what are their names?”. Well, when I was growing up, nobody wanted to be my friend! How? I was very nice and friendly! Guess being friendly doesn’t help! Benny: Okay. Tyler the cat writes, “How many superpowers do you possess?”. A lot. There are many powers that I have yet to discover and explore. Benny: Gadget the cat asks, “What was your biggest accomplishment in elementary school?”. My biggest accomplishment in elementary school was being first on the math lead. That was in the third grade. I could solve mathematical problems in less than a minute.
Benny: Eva the hamster asks, “What was your biggest accomplishment in high school?”. My biggest accomplishment in high school was that I completed four semesters worth of schoolwork in five months. I also was the only student passing in math! That was in the eleventh grade. Benny: Apple the bunny asks, “What is your favorite juice?”. Orange and carrot juice. Benny: That’s all. I love my fans! Benny stopped recording the video and posted it online.
Story #1 Benny was walking home after a long day of rescuing others and tutoring math students. He enjoyed the quiet evening until he heard a voice behind him. Darkwave, a dark brown tabby cat wearing a dark purple cape and purple gloves, stepped out of the shadows and challenged Benny. Benny quickly put on his electric blue cape and prepared for the fight. Darkwave attacked, but Benny used his super speed to dodge the attacks. Benny then used his super strength to stop Darkwave and prevent him from causing trouble. Darkwave became frustrated because Benny’s powers were too strong. He tried one final attack, but Benny flew into the air and used his lightning ability to defeat him. Darkwave was defeated and ran away, but he promised to return someday.
Benny looked over the city and felt proud. After saving the day, he returned home to prepare for his evening math tutoring. Benny knew that more adventures were waiting for him. Story #2 After another battle with Darkwave, Benny expected him to run away like usual. However, this time, Benny noticed something different. Darkwave looked sad and defeated instead of angry. Later that evening, Benny found Darkwave sitting alone near a quiet lake. He was looking at the water and thinking about his life. Darkwave felt like nobody understood him. He believed he was always alone and that nobody wanted to be his friend. Behind his tough attitude was a cat who was hurting inside.
Benny sat nearby and listened to him. He realized that Darkwave was not just an enemy. He was someone who was struggling and needed someone to understand him. Benny talked with Darkwave about feeling alone, making mistakes, and how everyone has good and bad sides. Benny explained that being a hero is not only about fighting villains, but also about helping those who need support. Darkwave was surprised that Benny cared about him. He was not used to someone treating him with kindness. The two cats stayed by the lake for a while, talking and watching the water. Darkwave was still not ready to become a hero, but Benny hoped that one day he would choose a better path. He sat on a bench near the lake and looked at his reflection in the water. Even though he acted tough and tried to prove himself, deep down he felt lonely. Darkwave watched other cats spending time with their friends and wondered why he always felt left out. At first, for years, he tried to be nice and friendly, but no one really wanted to friend him. Even when someone did, they always turned against him, betrayed him, or at the very worst always put him through or in trouble. He wanted people to understand him, but they are all selfish and mean. He looked at his dark purple cape and remembered all the times he was bullied and left out. He cried.
For once, Darkwave stopped pretending to be fearless. He sat quietly by the lake, thinking about his choices and the kind of cat he wanted to become. The night passed, and Darkwave eventually stood up and walked away. He was still alone, but he knew that maybe his story was not finished yet. Story #4 Benny was walking through the city when he noticed a local food bank that was running low on supplies. Many cats and animals in the community needed help, but there was not enough food available. Benny decided to do something about it. He gathered extra food from his home and donated it to the food bank. He also used his hero skills to help organize the donations and deliver supplies faster. The workers at the food bank were grateful for Benny’s kindness. Benny felt proud knowing he was helping others without needing attention or praise.
Benny realized that being a hero was not always about fighting villains or using superpowers. Sometimes, the greatest hero moments came from simply helping those in need. Benny left the food bank with a smile, knowing he made a difference in his community. Story #5 It was a quiet morning in the city. Darkwave walked through the park by himself, feeling angry and frustrated. He thought about all the times he felt ignored, rejected, and misunderstood. Darkwave sat on a bench and looked around. He saw other cats spending time with their friends, and it reminded him of how alone he felt. He remembered the times he tried to be kind, but people still turned against him. He felt like life had always been unfair.
His anger started to build up. Darkwave grabbed a few empty cans near the bench and threw them away. He knocked over some objects nearby and shouted about how unfair everything was. Darkwave was tired of feeling like nobody cared about him or wanted him. Behind his anger was a cat who was hurt and wanted to be understood. Benny was walking through the park after finishing his morning hero duties. He heard the noise and saw Darkwave sitting alone. Instead of fighting him, Benny walked over and listened. Darkwave explained how he felt like nobody understood him and how he had been carrying those feelings for years. Benny felt sorry for him. He realized Darkwave’s anger was hiding a lot of pain.
Benny gave Darkwave a hug. Benny: It’s okay, Darkwave. I’m your friend. Darkwave was surprised. He was not used to being shown kindness. For the first time in a long time, Darkwave felt like someone truly cared about him. The morning continued, and the two cats sat together in the park. Darkwave still had things to work through, but he knew he did not have to face everything alone.
