“Going to the hospital to receive chemotherapy is very
depressing. Sitting in a room, in an uncomfortable chair with
medications being pumped into your veins is not my idea of a
good time. Hospitals already feel demoralized and getting
pricked every other day with needles didn't help. It also didn't
help that I was the youngest one there by a mile. I felt out of
place and constantly felt like others were looking at me. It also
was hard to talk about with my friends because they were all
around my age and didn't really understand what I was
going through”
