Frequency and Severity Analysis:
➾ Performed Frequency and Severity Analysis for different areas of practices (specifically Lawyers
professional indemnity) and then plotted on bubble chart to place them against overall book. This assisted to
classify them to the right risk classification
USING DMAIC
Applying the improvements methodologies like DMAIC, Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA) & Value stream
mapping and initiated the following projects:
➾ Analysis done on the cash flow out and putting controls around it using DMAIC methodology ensuring better
cash flow out, avoiding early payments increasing the interest income on investment and customer
satisfaction
➾ Creation of trackers to maintain the record of influx with root cause analysis and detail comments ensuring
timely reporting to the stakeholders
➾ Automation of the process steps to reduce the Turnaround time to perform the activities
➾ Building escalation matrix with ownership ensuring proper escalation points in place to get the timely
solution for delinquencies
