 Sericulture is one of the most important rural industries in India. To promote practical learning and creativity, our
teachers assigned us the task of constructing heritage models using natural silk cocoons. This project
demonstrates how sericulture can be combined with art, culture, and education.
 This project was carried out by me and my fellow classmates under the valuable guidance of our respected
teachers. Using natural silk cocoons, we collectively designed and constructed heritage models representing
Krishnath College and Hazarduari Palace, two iconic landmarks of Murshidabad. The models were created for
educational purposes and presented at the Murshidabad Historical Fair to highlight the importance of sericulture
and the rich cultural heritage of our district.
