According to The American Statistical Association's Statement on the Use of P Values (2016), Statistical reasoning should not be replaced by P-values. Once significance is noted and the effect is very small, the researcher should not conclude significance just because the P-value suggested so. Other tests should be performed which include construction of confidence intervals. If after several tests significance is still being seen, then the researcher can conclude significance otherwise, he/she should opt for other approaches for the research such as increasing the sample size.

Sample sizes used were 663 for women and 650 for men. The data was collected from three points that is public, private and non-profit organizations. The subjects of this study were the 94 second year students of the College of Engineering taking up BSAE, BSCE, BSEE and BSME who were enrolled in Integral Calculus. This group of students were a combination of the first timer and repeaters in Integral Calculus. This were the students who were not screened out from the screening examination conducted by the researcher. It employed the descriptive correlational method using the frequency counts, weighted means and analysis of variance.The instrument used in this study was the attitude scale. This instrument was administered to the students before the first screening examination and after the last screening examination.Results revealed that students have favourable attitudes towards integral calculus before and after the screening examination strategy. However, results also revealed that the profile of the students in terms of gender, number of times the student took the subject and the students’ performance on the prerequisite subject has nothing to do or did not influence the attitudes of the students towards the subject. The samples consisted of 663 women and 650 men taken from a convenience sample of public, private, and non-profit organizations. Each participant was administered an instrument that measured his or her current levels of cultural competency. The cultural competency score ranges from 0 to 10, with higher scores indicating higher levels of cultural competency. The descriptive statistics indicate women have higher levels of cultural competency ( M = 9.2, SD = 3.2) than men ( M = 8.9, SD = 2.1). The results were significant t (1311) = 2.0, p <.05, indicating that women are more culturally competent than are men. These results tell us that gender-specific interventions targeted toward men may assist in bolstering cultural competency.

According to The American Statistical Association's Statement on the Use of P Values (2016), Statistical reasoning should not be replaced by P-values. Once significance is noted and the effect is very small, the researcher should not conclude significance just because the P-value suggested so. Other tests should be performed which include construction of confidence intervals. If after several tests significance is still being seen, then the researcher can conclude significance otherwise, he/she should opt for other approaches for the research such as increasing the sample size.
Sample Sizes
Sample sizes used were 663 for women and 650 for men. The data was collected from three points that is public, private and non-profit organizations. Though the sample seems good enough, the entire population figure is not provided. Another problem is that, sample sizes from the three locations were not disclosed which probably means that the samples were all added up and used in the analysis. Sample sizes from each location should be carefully determined based on the population of each location. One thing that may affect the students’ perception of mathematics is the attitude of the students towards the subject. This study was conducted to assess the attitude of students towards integral calculus. The subjects of this study were the 94 second year students of the College of Engineering taking up BSAE, BSCE, BSEE and BSME who were enrolled in Integral Calculus. This group of students were a combination of the first timer and repeaters in Integral Calculus. This were the students who were not screened out from the screening examination conducted by the researcher. It employed the descriptive correlational method using the frequency counts, weighted means and analysis of variance.The instrument used in this study was the attitude scale. This instrument was administered to the students before the first screening examination and after the last screening examination.Results revealed that students have favourable attitudes towards integral calculus before and after the screening examination strategy. However, results also revealed that the profile of the students in terms of gender, number of times the student took the subject and the students’ performance on the prerequisite subject has nothing to do or did not influence the attitudes of the students towards the subject. This paper examines factors that affect four-year graduation rates at public colleges and universities in the United States. The author uses econometric modeling and regression analysis on data from 199 randomly selected public institutions. Key findings from the study suggest higher freshman retention rates, average financial aid amounts, smaller class sizes, in-state tuition costs, and average incoming GPA positively impact graduation rates, while higher male percentages, urban locations, and Hispanic percentages have negative effects. In the 2002 survey, responses from 7295 randomly selected students showed that this figure had slipped to 3396 . Officials would, of course, be concerned if student attendance were deelining. Do these figures give evidence of a change in student attendance? Consider an event to be rare if its probability of occurring is less than 0.10. Complete parts a-e below. a) Write the appropriate hypotheses. Let p be the poputation proportion of students who have not been absent from school even once during the pastmonth. H0:P=HA:p= (Type integers or defimals. Do not round.) b) Check the assumptions and conditions. The Randomization Condition reasonably be assumed to be satisfied. The 10%6 Condition reasonably be assumed to be satistiod. The Success/Failure Condition satsfied. c) Perform the test and find the P-value. The test statistic is (Round to two decimal plaices as needed.)
