Research Overview   “ The effects of using differentiated instruction on workplace learning & adult learners’ performance” ,[object Object],[object Object],[object Object],[object Object],[object Object],[object Object],[object Object]

Learning Style Activity   There will be five minute learning intervals spent with each session (20 minutes total) First Interval  Second Interval  Third Interval  Fourth Interval  Group 1   K   R   V   A Group 2   R   V    A   K Group 3  V A   K    R Group 4   A K   R    V
Performance Assessment  After each group has completely rotated through all FOUR learning style intervals, the next step is to follow the desired method of instruction from a packet and successfully add a payee using the Online DEMO Bill Pay-e site in accordance with the set of instructions.  (Performance Assessment Time Limit: 5 minutes)
Workplace Learning Style Inventory Do you become distracted by movement near you? Do you become distracted by sound or noise? Do you become distracted by untidiness or movement? Do you prefer verbal instructions or talking about it? Do you like descriptive scenes or pause to imagine the action? Do something new at work Do you use words such as hear, tune, and think?  Do you favor words such as see, picture, and image? Do you sound out the words? Do you try to see words? Spell Auditory Visual When you Talk Concentrate on the task Read Need help with computer applications Kinesthetic Do you write the words down to find if it feels right? Do you use words such as feel, touch, and hold?  Do you enjoy dialog and conversation to hear people talk?  Do you prefer action stories or are not a keen reader? Do you like descriptive scenes or pause to imagine the action? Do you prefer to jump right in and try it? Put something together Do you seek out pictures or diagrams? Do you call the help desk, ask a neighbor, or dislike computer?  Do you keep trying to do it and figure it out as you go along? Do you look at the directions or the pictures? Do you like someone telling you how to assemble something? Do you ignore the directions and figure it out and you do it?
