Stem-changing verbs are verbs whose vowel in the stem changes in certain conjugated forms. There are three types of stem-changing verbs: e to ie, o to ue, and e to i. Conjugating stem-changing verbs involves finding the stem, identifying the vowel that changes, changing it accordingly, and adding endings.
