3rd Global Sustainable Fashion Week

The 3rd Global Sustainable Fashion Week (GSFW) aims to promote social responsibility and sustainability in the fashion industry, emphasizing the inclusion of individuals with disabilities through the Ability Fashion Team. The event will include an international conference and an integrated fashion show, featuring designers from various countries and discussions led by well-known professionals. The conference will focus on key themes of equality and sustainability, with participation expected from around 100 attendees daily and a fashion show audience of about 300.

The founder of GSFW, the National Fashion League Hungary Association has been representing and showcasing the values of the indegenous fashion industry both in Europe and worldwide for many years. Dr. Gabriella Mányi Walek, chairwoman of both GSFW and the National Fashion League Hungary Association would like to call for global actions for a better fashion/world, where consciousness, looking after the environment, ethical and social viewpoints, as well as social responsibility are brought to the forefront. The main goal of the 3rd GSFW besides the other aspects of the sustainability is to call the attention to the social responsiblity for equality. The Ability Fashion Team of the Association, wherein there are many talented young people living with disabilities will join the conference&discussions and the integrated international fashion show. At each GSFW 2016 and GSFW 2017 abt. 15 countries and all the continents were represented. For the 3rd GSFW many professionals will be invited again, first of all such lecturers, who have a proper approach to the social responsibility too (from Hungary, UK, Germany, Sweden, Holland Italy, Danemark, Indonesia, India, Pakistan). Among the members of the National Fashion League Hungary Association there are many talented people from the creative industry. At the 3rd Global Sustainable Fashion Week Anna Hegedűs/Piroshka, Ágnes Szépligeti/Luxuria and Iman Lettner (couture designers), Katalin Hegyesi/Krizó (jewellery stylist), Nelli Molnár/Nelli Moliari ( lace jewellery designer), Márta Révész (lace folk artist) have the opportunity to show their collections and artwork together with the eco designers from many parts of the world at the international integrated
