This is the diary of a quarter over the course of 9 days in January. On the first day, the quarter was dropped on the floor since it is made of metal. On its birthday on the second day, it had a party but couldn't tell the other coins apart since they all have George Washington's face. Later in the week, the quarter got dropped down a drain, was stolen from a bank and ended up in the sea where it was eaten by a shark.

1. Diary of a quarter

January 1
Today I got dropped on the floor. That was
good because I am made out of metal.
January 2
Today is my birthday and I hade a birthday
party but it was not fun because I did not know
who was who because we all have George
Washington on us.
January 3
Today I got dropped in a drain that is so bad.
Nobody picked me up. Water came and I
drowned.
January 4
Today I got banked rob from the bank and I
ended up in a bag.

2. January 5
Today I had a bad day because my mom said
to go to school.
January 6
Today I had to go to school. My teacher said I
was crazy. But I did not know why.
January 7
Today me and my friend went to the bank.
January 8
Today I got dropped in the sea and a shark ate
me up.
January 9
