3. Job Searching Go to seek and find a job You can change ‘sort by’ to sort by Date. That way the latest jobs will be on top
4. You can sent up an ‘email alert’ for yourself. So any new jobs are sent to your email account
5. Practice setting up an email alert for 2 job seeking websites (you can use as many different key words as you like)

12. Why have a job seeking email account You won’t be reliant on your USB key to download your resume You can do job seeking from ANY computer with internet access and attach your resume – without your USB You can receive replies to job applications on your email account

14. Go to inbox in & find email with resume & Cover Letter Resume & Cover letter Double click to open

16. Repeat this step. Close documents & you should see your resume and cover letter on your computer desktop Your resume should now be on your desktop ready to be added to job application
17. Practice doing this till you are confident that you can put your resume & cover letter on your desktop

Recording the Jobs you have applied for Write details in your Catalyst Log book Print out job description so you can refer to it later (write date you applied on the bottom) Destroy after a few weeks so you don’t get bogged down with paperwork Optional – follow up with a phone call. 23. I want to change my cover letter or have 2 versions Open your cover letter on your desktop. Change wording and ‘save as’. Save with new name on desktop OR USB. Saved on desktop with new name
