  2. 2. How much do applications cost?<br />The average college application fee is around $35. However, many schools charge less if you complete their application online. <br />

Waiving Fees<br />Families experiencing financial hardship may be eligible to receive fee waivers. <br />In order to determine if you are eligible to have fees waived, you must fill out the NACAC (National Association for College Admission Counseling) fee waiver form, downloadable from their website at<br />
  4. 4. How to know if you could qualify<br />Suggested family income for eligibility ranges from $29,000-$46,000, but this can vary based on family size. Income is not the only factor in determining eligibility.<br />If you receive free and reduced lunch at school, you are likely to be eligible. <br />Colleges will verify this information through FAFSA.<br />
  5. 5. Does this work for all schools?<br />A student can only submit up to 4 application fee waiver forms. <br />While most schools abide by the NACAC guidelines, some schools have their own policies regarding application fees. Do your research to find out!<br />
