  3. 3. Who Does It Effect? Texting while driving affects you and everyone who you are important to. It also affects everyone you are driving on the road with. If you’re not paying attention to the road you can hit into someones car which might injure them. source

  5. 5. Some don’t think it’s a problem 77% of young adults are very or somewhat confident that they can text while driving. 55% of young adults drivers claim its easy to text while driving. Not only is it dangerous but it’s against the law. Source

Five seconds is the average time your eyes are off the road while texting which is more than enough time to get into a serious car crash.
