Students in Farmington Area Public Schools will partake in a series of events and activities during National Nutrition Month. Chartwells, the districts nutrition partner is coordinating multiple events to promote healthy eating during March.

Farmington Students Get Their Plates in Shape

  1. 1. Chef Tim Printup and Food Service Director Peggy Anderberg keep stocking the table with healthy food samples.
  2. 2. Smart choices for snacks were provided as part of the display. These are breads and dips from around the world.
  3. 3. Students also sampled fresh vegetables and hummus dipand they entered a drawing to win a basket of low fat snacks.
  4. 4. Over at the lunch line, students waited in line for a healthy and fresh Thai Chicken Salad.
  5. 5. Charwells will provide multiple promotions during March to attract students to healthier options.
