 Responsibilities include achieving and implementation of the waste water treatment
technologies for various Industrial Parks. 

 As part of Technical support to APIIC in Implementation of Eco-Industrial park concept in
Industrial Zone. 

 Creation of Industrial Parks environmental data bank. 

 Required infrastructure facilities proposed Implemented to convert the industrial parks
into Eco- industrial parks 

 Initiated and started Programmes such as Ecoprofit by coordinating with international
consultants (GIZ). 

 Conducting Eco-Profit and Environmental Audits in the Industries. 
Roles and Responsibilities:
I will assist General Manager (EMP) on all EMP activities. Specific responsibilities
include:
 Assisting the General Manager (EMP) in planning, coordination and
management of all activities of the EMP Division, including coordination of
activities with Zonal Offices and IALAs on all environmental matters. 
 Assisting in preparation of budget requirements, milestones/targets and
expected results as a part of long-term plans and Annual Plans. 
 Steering the performance of Managers (EMP) of the Zonal Offices, including
delegation of work, issuing directions, guidance etc. 
 Periodically review the progress of activities and achievement of
milestones/targets/ results. 
 Site visits and verification of progress of progress of work, as may be
necessary. 
 Will be responsible for all the activities of EMP Division in the absence of GM
(EMP). 
