  2. 2. Origin <ul><li>Halloween was created in the around the 800’s </li></ul><ul><li>This holiday was dated to be a catholic holiday </li></ul><ul><li>It came to America in the 1840’s </li></ul>
  3. 3. Represents <ul><li>Halloween represents a holiday when people go out and have a good time. For children Halloween is the time you get candy with out question. Children go to houses and ask “Trick or Treat” which in old times you give candy or the would T.P. houses or throw eggs for not getting candy. </li></ul>
  4. 4. Represents cont. <ul><li>For teens and adult Halloween means to go to parties in different costumes and have a good time. This holiday means to be free and to scare children and take their candy (if you’re mean like that). </li></ul>
  5. 5. Symbols <ul><li>One symbol of Halloween is the famous Jack O’ Lantern, which dates back to a guy that died, and Heaven or Hell would not take him. So Jack was spotted walking around in Limbo for all eternity walking with a Lantern. Where he was called Jack of the Lantern which turned into Jack O’ Lantern. </li></ul>

  7. 7. Symbols cont. <ul><li>Other symbols for Halloween would be Ghosts, Witches, Black Cats, Vampires, etc. all the things that makes people scared. Even famous Scary Movies had been made into costumes like Michael Myers from Halloween or Jason Voorhees from Friday the 13 th . </li></ul>
