Starting a biotech consulting business is a bit rough as a solopreneur when 3/4 of your time is spent on business development and only a 1/4 on actually consulting. This "basics" presentation helps you strategize on becoming a thought leader in your field to obtain new clients. By going from a "trees" perspective to a "forest" perspective, you will gain more credibility in your industry and help in the sustainability of your business (as we all know, as soon as your "recently-out-of-corporate" network dries up, that's when you really can rely on what you have built as a digital footprint of knowledge sharing.
